Okay, confession time. I am not a fan of Star Wars. I’ve seen the movies….I didn’t understand the movies…but I have seen them all. It just didn’t sink in…
But even though I don’t consider myself a Star Wars fan, I still really enjoy the land at Hollywood Studios.
Here are some of the things I enjoy even though I don’t really understand them…
The food. It’s different. Maybe it has significance in the Star Wars franchise, but to me it is just unique food.
At Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo we tried the following dishes:
- Smoked Kaadu Ribs – sticky pork ribs served with a blueberry corn muffin and cabbage slaw
- Fried Endorian Tip-yip – crispy chicken served with roasted vegetable potato mash and herb gravy
- Fried Endorian Tip-yip (kids) – crispy chicken served with macaroni & cheese and seasonal vegetables
It was good but the kids haven’t asked to go back since we ate there the first time.
I love this replica of the Millennium Falcon. You can even hear clanking and engine sounds coming from it like Chewy is really inside fixing it up.
I don’t know exactly what this is…maybe a storage trunk of some kind? But they have them all over Star Wars land and it adds a realistic feel to the land.
This ship is cool. Is it from the Dark Side?
Blue milk. It isn’t really human milk. But it is famous! It is a frozen plant-based blend of coconut and rice milks. It is sweetened and infused with berry and melon flavors.
Before the epidemic, Rey could be seen running around the land. I loved watching her interact with Guests and some would even be dressed as her.
The Outpost Popcorn Mix comes in a blend of sweet and spicy flavors. It is a yummy snack while you tour the market area.
These bottles are just so cool. I don’t know if they have soda in Star Wars…but these bottles are so unique that they could!
I don’t know what this creature is without Googling it, but I have this overwhelming desire to stick my finger in his mouth……….
Another cool ship. They have a few throughout Star Wars land. Makes you think they could blast off at any time.
So there you have it. There are 10 random things that I like in Star Wars Land even though I don’t exactly understand them like I do Harry Potter World. ;)
