Late Spring in my home means planting time. I look forward to planting my garden each year and watching it grow. Today, we picked some sugar snap peas, tomatoes, green beans, cucumbers, zucchini and summer squash! We also have blueberry bushes and pumpkins planted.
Even veggies have seen a price increase, so I am thankful to have fresh veggies from my own yard.
Tip: Buy seeds and garden supplies in August for next year.
Store bought seeds are good for 2-3 years, plan on picking up some when they go on clearance for the season and save for next year. Now is also a great time to buy garden supplies for next year, as highlighted in my Best Things to Buy in August post. By the end of August, garden supplies and seeds will be heavily discounted to make room for Halloween items. Check now for best selection on clearance.
