Tomorrowland is one of the few lands that has no characters out to meet up with. Aside form some day is in the late spring early summer when Buzz makes a short appearance by his ride, there are no places to meet characters.
There is however characters you can see each day at the Star Wars Jedi Training academy. There you are trained to fight like a jedi and Darth Vader comes to persuade you to join the dark side as you train. Darth is joined by Darth Maul and 2 of his storm troopers. If you are one of the lucky ones picked to be trained, you will get a chance to fight either Darth Vader or Darth Maul.
There is no time for you to get autographs from them unless you catch the storm troopers running back to their ship to guard Darth Vader. But they usually only stop for pictures as they are running back to their ship.
This Disneyland training article was written by my friend Melissa. Melissa is a Wife and Mother of 3 (ages 5, 3, and 1). Her family lives 10 minutes from Disneyland and visit the magical park at least 1 a week! She also blogs over at Living A Frugal Life about how to have a frugal life while still having a rich family life. She loves DIY projects, cooking from scratch, saving money and spending time with her little family!

I am so excited that you are doing DisneyLAND training! I’m in NC, but we are planning a vacation to San Diego… SO OF COURSE we are swinging up to Disneyland for a day (or two) <3.

Might I add that if you happen to be there on a rainy day, they don’t do the Jedi Training Academy. There is good news! Darth Vader & his Storm Troopers will come out for pictures! I’ve seen it happen several times. I’m the mom of a 5 year old who loves Star Wars & Buzz Lightyear. We’ve spent several hours in Tomorrowland! :)
