Disney World Training: Calling Phone Booths at Epcot

in Disney World Parks,Disney World Training,Tickets and Packages

The red payphone booths at Epcot have real working numbers…… I just called and this really nice woman answered and was blown away that there was a real person on the other end of the phone. I told her that I was going to post about it on the blog. She thought that it was pretty neat. She said she was just walking by the phone booth and it rang.

So I thought some of you might want to give it a try. Here’s the numbers:

407-827-9861  Right Booth
407-827-9862 Left Booth
407-827-9863 Center Booth

If you call and someone answers, leave a comment and let us all know how the conversation goes!

HOW FUN! I called the left booth & spoke to a woman from Arizona! She said it’s chilly(low 70′s) & sprinkling rain. Well to me that’s warm, here in RI we are in the beginning stages of a Blizzard!

I don’t know where she is..i live a few miles from WDW and it’s only 44 degrees w/ wind gusts of 23 mph making it feel more like 35. And that’s a little before noon!

She must be from Alaska so that 44 feels like 70 to her! HAHAHAHAHA

Hey!! My hubby just called one of the numbers. A lady from Clearwater, Florida answered. She said the phone booth next to her was ringing and her husband was answering that one!!! Phil told her we had 8 inches of snow here in Eastern North Carolina and that it was still snowing here. She said it was 45 degrees there and windy. I think she was quite taken aback but very friendly. Phil said tell you it was fun to talk to her!!!!

Oh my gosh that was Fun!!! I got some guy who was flustered, and in my best British accent I welcomed him to England. We discussed the weather and he said he was cold. So I recommended a hot cup of tea at the Rose & Crown. It was great, I almost felt like I worked at DIsney there for a second! Thanks for the fun today Kristin!

My husband and I called the Right Phone Booth number 2x. The first time he got a guy who was from Atlanta. He said it was very cold.
The second time, I got a young lady from Washington. I was asking her about the phone booth and she said she was in the England Land and her dad was taking a picture of her! Her dad made her hang up!!!
I will put this number in my phone and call on random days when I’m bored!
haha!!!

Hahahaha, after the lines being busy for awhile, someone answered on the Center Booth. He said it was cold and didn’t know the temp. I told him we were calling from Ohio and he sounded surprised. He said he would love to talk but his food was getting cold :)

We called the right booth and got a girl from Canada (pretty amusing since she the phones are near the Canada section). She said it was cold but that they were having fun. Her friends were cracking up in the background. They seemed stunned that we could just call. Will do from time to time. Might even call with my class at school to see who picks up. Thanks for the info. Too fun!!!

I had read this on another site and I pre-programmed the numbers into my phone before we left for our trip this past October. We sat inconspicuously near a fountain about 25 ft away and called these numbers for 30 minutes. We would say things like, “I love your red shirt” and people would look around. It was a blast! One of the most fun things we did at Epcot.

My aunt, uncle, cousin, and cousin’s kids all went to Disney World, and my uncle told me he and my aunt sat outside a nearby restaurant and called the phones for about an hour, pranking everyone. He apparently got a woman to go into the tavern and ask if his order was ready!! He told my buddies and I to try it. Wish us luck..! I hope we don’t get a fax machine =\

Wow, I’m so excited… I just called the Center booth and a suspicious man answered the phone. When I told him what I was doing, he just laughed increduously. He’s from New Jersey and was standing, in the hot & humid Florida weather, right outside the UK portion of Epcot. Fun, fun! I’m going to call everyday!

I just called the Right Booth and someone from New York answered! She just said that the weather was pretty brutal right now (I think the heat index said it’s feels like it’s 102 degrees right now).

Pretty cool!

This is so neat! After several minutes of debating how to even strike up a conversation with a random person, my husband and I called the center booth and got ahold of a young woman from Canada. She said it was very hot here, and so far was enjoying her trip down here. She had gone on Soarin’ and saw Nemo and Friends. We told her to go on Test Track if she liked Soarin’. This is so cool! I’m so happy they actually work! =o)

We were robbed, and my bit of paper with her e-mail on it was stolen. PLEASE, if you are reading this, e-mail me! It was so cool to talk to you!
