I just love the way my friend Jenn organizes her coupons. I think it would be a great way for someone who doesn’t have a lot of space and likes to be able to move their coupons aroudn the house…
- Take a box that is big enough to hold hanging folders
- Label each folder with the date of the inserts it contains (she does blue for Smart Source, Red for Redplum). So one folder would say 5/1 SS and one would say 5/1 RP
- When you need a coupon, you take your tote box to your favorite room in the house and cut them out.
You can also see more ways to organize the coupons here.

Love this idea :) I am a freak about organization so this is a great tip for me!

I have two binders, just hard-cover, 3 ring ones, have not graduated to the zip-around ones yet! One is for FOOD, the other is all NON-FOOD. This is easier for me to find things quickly. The front of each binder contains a clear pencil pouch that holds all my “about to expire” coupons as well as all my “match-up” coupons. So far it’s been a great system! :)

I have a binder but it’s not organized yet. I tried keeping my inserts intact, but I find they’re not matching up with what’s being posted.

I agree with you Tricia.
Even though it is heavy, I have been glad I had all my coupons with me when I find that great deal on clearance items. I love to see all my coupon.
Tricia says
The only downside to this method is if you come across clearance or an unadvertised sale you may not have coupons with you that would make for a sweet deal. I love my binder!

Wow, this is the way I’ve always done it. I hate the binder system, it’s just too much for me to carry around with a young child. I organize mine by month, then by week. Both RP, SS and P&G reside in the same weekly folder. I find the books last about 6 months, then I reuse the folders. Always make sure to check your inserts for long expiration date coupons before you toss them! I stick these in an envelope with the week and the last expiration date on it and put all the envies in a folder in the front. I go through them once a month.

That’s what I do but I label them by month and either SS, RP, or other (P&G, etc.) It works great for me. That was I can find the exact coupon I need by insert. Then I paper clip my cut coupons to my list for each store that I need to go to.

I tried the binder system but it did not work for me. I switched to this type of system and I’m very pleased.

It seems you are right! Just ask and they will send. I wrote to 2 different companies that I use their products and they both sent me coupons for free products. It is great.
