Walt Disney wanted to create a magical place where people forget about the real world. One way they do that is by creating what many of us call the Disney bubble. Here are 4 Fascinating Things Disney Does To Keep Guests In The Disney Bubble:
1. Cleaning through the night – While you are sleeping at Walt Disney World, hundreds of custodial Cast Members are cleaning up the parks. When you return in the morning, you’ll find the park sparkling clean and freshly washed.
2. Undercover Security – Theft happens everywhere, even at Disney. To keep the merchandise and Guests protected, Disney employs undercover security. These Cast Members dress in casual clothes and are assigned at different locations every couple of days so people don’t notice them lingering around.
3. The Disney Look – Cast Members have to adhere to strict guidelines about their hair, glasses, tattoos, piercings, nails and even casts/bandages. They want Cast Members to look natural and not stand out.
4. Trash cans close together – Walt followed guests to discover approximately how many steps they would walk before they dropped their litter (it’s right at 30 steps) and so he had trash cans placed about that far from one another in his parks. The trash cans are decorated to match the area that they are in. See how many you can find!
