The fireworks, the castle and of course all the iconic rides come to mind when one mentions Walt Disney World. There is so much else besides these splendid things to do and see. For those looking for random things they may have missed, consider these 5 attractions around Magic Kingdom.
1. Citizens of Main Street
Have you ever stopped to watch this happy crew? They are the perfect way to start any day at Disney’s Magic Kingdom, with different times through out the morning. Watch as the Citizens of Main Street sing and dance their way, dressed in 19th century clothing.
2. Flag Retreat
If you are in Magic Kingdom at 5pm, head to Town Square, around the Flag for the daily Flag Retreat. Guests are encouraged to stop for the Pledge of Allegiance. Plus listen to patriotic songs while the flag is lowered and folded, in a beautiful 15-minute ceremony honoring the nation.
3. Fronteirland Shootin’ Arcade
Test your aiming skills at this fun western style shootin’ arcade located in Frontierland. For just $0.50 guests get about 25 shots to choose from nearly 100 targets. Stop by for some bragging rights or just good ole fun.
4. Get Pixie-Dust
Anyone, even if not getting other services may stop by Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique or Harmony Barber Shop and get free pixie dust. Simply ask a cast member for some pixie dust glitter in your hair. Adding just an extra bit of magic as you explore the parks.
