1. Expedition Everest
For the Roller Coaster enthusiast or the brave soul, visit Expedition Everest. Guests will journey through the Himalayas and try not to get caught by the Yeti. This exhilarating ride reaches up to 50mph at times.
2. Festival Of The Lion King
This live action performance adapts scenes from The Lion King to the stage. Find this amazing musical in Africa. The Festival of the Lion King is a popular must-see show for many.
Or, consider Finding Nemo – The Musical.
3. It’s Tough To Be A Bug
Head to Discovery Island and located within the trunk of the Tree of Life is, It’s Tough To Be A Bug. Flik from A Bug’s Life teachers you what life is like as a bug in this 3D film attraction. Beware of Hopper the grasshopper (he can be intimidating to young children and other loud noises).
Be sure to take some pictures of the 145 ft tall Tree of Life as well and look for the animal carvings.
4. Kali River Rapids
This is a thrilling raft ride perfect for a hot day. Be prepared to get wet on Kali River Rapids. Hold on at the end as you and your raft mates prepare for a 20 foot drop.
5. Kilimanjaro Safari
This 20-minute experience is one of the most popular attractions at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Guests of the Kilimanjaro Safari will witness animals and learn more about them on this guided tour. Look up above on your vehicle for a chart of animals and see how many you can find!
6. Look For DiVine
DiVine can be found in the Oasis at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. Look closely as she often camouflages herself amongst the trees. Once this 10 ft tall vine starts moving she is hard to miss, and amazing to watch.
7. Pandora – World Of Avatar
Take some time to walk through this amazing new land. From floating mountains to riding on a banshee, there is much to see at Pandora – World of Avatar. Ride Fight of Passage or Na’vi River Journey.
