This week, I am going to give you some answers to some Frequently Asked Questions about the original Happiest Place on Earth-Disneyland.
What Disneyland Resort do you recommend for families with young children?
When you are visiting with young children, being close to the parks is a must. In the case of Disneyland, I suggest you stay at Disney’s Grand Californian Resort and Spa. You may be making quick trips back to the resort for naps, meals, and some quiet pool time. The Grand Californian Resort and Spa is perfect for you! My second choice for families with young children is the Disneyland Hotel. What I like about this is that there are no balconies-just floor to ceiling windows. And, the rooms at the Disneyland Resort are larger than at the others. The Disneyland Hotel is also in a great location-it’s on the monorail!
What options are there for a family of 5 or 6 at the Disneyland Resort?
The three resorts at Disneyland offer suite options that will be perfect for larger families! You can enjoy a suite with a theme park view, a Paradise Pier view, or a standard view. Also, rooms at the Disneyland Hotel have two queen beds and a day bed-perfect for a family of 5!
What are the benefits to staying in a Disneyland Resort?
Guests of the Disneyland Resorts can enjoy numerous benefits! You are surrounded by Disney magic every moment of your trip. With Disneyland Resorts, the magic is in the details! You can enjoy a private entrance to Disneyland’s California Adventure Park as well as Extra Magic Hours. Plus special experiences unique to each resort, and don’t forget about the amazing pools at your Disneyland Resort!
If I am staying at the Grand Californian Resort, may I use the pools of the other Disneyland resorts?
Unfortunately, not. Guests are only allowed to use their pool of the resort where they are staying. However, it’s Disney! And the pools at each resort have their own charm and magic! Your family will be perfectly happy with the pools at the Grand Californian!
Does the Disneyland Resort offer complimentary airport transportation?
No, unfortunately not. The hotels of the Disneyland Resort are serviced by various shuttle companies in the Anaheim area. The good thing is, you can add ground transfers directly to your Disneyland package .
