My best friend is Gluten Free. When she visited us in September of 2016, we had the opportunity to eat at a few restaurants and order off their Gluten Free menus. The Disney restaurants now have a special menu available upon request from the cashier or waitress that lists exactly what entrees can be made Gluten Free, Nut Free or Dairy Free.
Starbucks is very easy to order gluten free. It is the same menu as back home and she already knew what she loved to drink.
Many of the restaurants serve up gluten free buns. This hamburger came from Blizzard Beach and she said it was oh so good.
The best place to go if you are gluten free is Erin McKenna Bakery in Disney Springs. Everything on the menu is both vegan and gluten free. We got a half dozen cupcakes and took them home. We even had cupcakes for breakfast.
We dined at Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen. They sent out a chef to speak with her just to be safe. She decided on the gluten free version of “Tastes like Chicken” – Because it is! and I went with the regular offering. When it came out, I couldn’t even tell the difference. They were both delicious!
They also provided a gluten free version of their bread service.
The absolute best meal was at Pizzafari in Animal Kingdom. They had just added a new cheeseburger pizza and they were able to make it on a gluten free crust. She LOVED it. She had not had an actual cheeseburger in years and she said this was just like the ones of her youth. This was definitely the best offering on Disney property, at least for her!
We also went to Rainforest Cafe. They sent out a chef to discuss the gluten free options. She ordered a salad that we forgot to take a picture of.
The Dole Whips are also gluten free and both enjoyed them. Yum!
If you are gluten free by either choice or necessity, you will find that Disney is absolutely fabulous and accommodating.

Next time try Raglan Road! Gluten free onion rings and fish and chips are amazing. They also give out their batter recipe and its just as good as the real thing.

Every restaurant we dined in on our last trip was more than accommodating for my daughters gluten intolerance. I wish more restaurants could aim for the level of service Disney offers.

Thanks for this, my four kids and myself are allergic to gluten, dairy and soy, we have always had a wonderful experience at Disney but I always like to get ideas from others to make our next trip even better!
