If you have a smartphone, you definitely need to download the My Disney Experience App for Walt Disney World. This app will sync with your MyDisneyExperience.com account and is a vital tool in making the most of your day in the parks!
Once you create and log into your account (you use the same log in and password as you do for Disney.com), click on the top “Wait Times”. This will pull up a easy to navigate list of the app.
My Plans will bring up a list of your plans for the day that you have already scheduled, click “See All Plans”.
Under My Plans, also add more or modify plans such as FastPass+, Dining or Order Food.
If you are missing your resort or dining reservations from the app, there is a field to type in the confirmation number to add it to your account.
My Profile will bring up a list of vital information to your account. Here you can add family and friends to your account so that you can make Fastpass+ and Dining Reservations for them. This is also where you would link a MagicBand to your account if it is not automatically linked. You can also store a credit card for reservations, Online Check-In and ticket purchases.
Park Hours will bring up a list of all of today’s park hours for the theme parks, water parks, Boardwalk, Disney Springs and ESPN World or Sports Complex. If you click on today’s date, you can quickly change to any date in the calendar year. If you tap on the name of the park, you can pull up a list of every attraction within that park and their hours of operation. Click on the name of the attraction and you can pull up a brief description of the attraction, the age of those that might be interested in it, any height or mobility restrictions and it’s level of thrill. You can even get a Fastpass+ reservation for it from this screen.
Wait Times will bring up a current list of all the wait times in the park. These wait times are updated by Disney and reflect the current times in the system. It is a VERY HANDY tool when you are in the parks and trying to figure out what to do next. Use the search field at the top to quickly find the attraction you are interested in.
Fastpass+ will pull up a list of all your current Fastpass+ selections as well as allow you to choose and modify selections. This is great when you are in the park and decide you wanted to change your Fastpass+ from one attraction or time to another. For details on how to change your Fastpass+ selection, check out this post.
Reserve Dining will pull up a list allowing you to make reservations, check your current reservation or explore dining options. Under Explore Dining Options, you can look up all of the restaurants and snack stands that are near you or within the theme park you are in. Once you pull up the list, tap on the name of the restaurant you are interested in and you can view it’s menu which also includes the prices. Great for planning what you want to eat before you get to the restaurant! We always pick out what we want before we even enter the restaurant.
PhotoPass will pull up all of your PhotoPass pictures that have been taken on your trip. If you have friends linked to your account, their PhotoPass pictures will also show up in this section. You can purchase pictures directly from the app if you did not purchase Memory Maker.
