Denise is one of those readers that stands out in my head! I have a few readers like Denise that seem like family because they have been around for so long. With that being said I love you all the same, and feel grateful, that you choose to spend your time reading my little ole blog! Lots of people start practicing what I teach. Give it a few months of working the plan. See that they have only earned a couple hundred bucks, and loose hope. Couponing to Disney is not a get a Disney vacation quickly and easily plan. It is work, always has been, and always will be! If you are willing to put in the work, you to can have success like Denise. She is only one example of readers that have been with me for years, and have paid of multiple trips following what I teach.
As Denise shows in her pie chart, you have to do multiple things to earn those Disney trips. No matter how small the earnings may seem they all add up to pay for your Disney vacations or whatever you dreams may be!
2018 Savings thanks to Kristin and $aveEars
Every year our family takes a 1 ½ week annual vacation in December to Disney World. For the past 9 years, we have never paid out of pocket, for our annual family vacation! Thanks to the tips Kristin and her crew share on this page. Swagbucks is a top earner for me towards being able to take my family on a FREE vacation. This year I earned $4,715.09 with $1,075.00 from Swagbucks alone.
I did something different this year with Swagbucks, I expanded my goal. Not only did I want a free vacation, but also a large chunk of Christmas gifts paid for. I started redeeming SB once per month for an Amazon gift card to help pay for those gifts. This year our family vacation is a cruise! Those Amazon gift cards got everyone new snorkel gear and cruise items as Christmas presents all for FREE!
I have been a member of Swagbucks since 2011. I understand how confusing, frustrating, and daunting SB can appear to be. Please do not give up hope, because it truly has been a steady earner for me year after year. I mainly earn with Swagbucks by taking surveys, printing coupons, redeeming coupons, and purchasing promos at Walmart.
Like many of you, I have a family, work full time, and have a long commute so my time is limited. Because of time restraints my main goal is to try to reach the daily blue goal to get those associated bonus points. I try a survey early in the morning before work. I tend to personally have the most success during the early morning time frame. I guess, I am kinda successful with SB surveys, because I filled out my SB profile, and my qualifying answers match my profile. My answers are consistent (but that is a total guess on why I might qualify more often then others).
Another general tip, I adhere to when taking surveys, or product reviews (YES, SB has product reviews) is use correct grammar, punctuation, and answer in complete sentences. Who out there got to test the brand new Keurig machine and got free Kcups to review over a year ago?! I did, I felt like I hit the SB jackpot. I know it sounds like common sense, but you would surprised how many people give little effort to their writing. Companies are paying to hear my honest answers to questions my answer should not be in the form of an abbreviated text message.
Some days are better than others with Swagbucks. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason on which surveys are available and which ones you will qualify for. My only suggestion is to keep trying because SB definitely pays out. You just have to be consistent and not give up!
I have been a faithful follower of Kristin and Couponing to Disney since almost the inception of her blog. Her’s was the first blog that connected the dots for me between couponing, rebates, rebate apps, reward apps, saving with purpose, and working towards a goal. I have tried all sorts of ways and methods to save money. Each year is different, new apps come along and go, couponing to your dreams is always evolving. You have to learn to evolve with it! What works for me may not work for you and vice versa. What I can promise you, is that you will see results if you stick with it. Slow and steady wins this race to yearly savings goals!
(Thanks, Denise)
