Make sure you follow Walt Disney World’s dress code so you will not be blocked from entering the parks. Here areĀ 10 Items You May Not Wear In Disney Theme Parks:
1. Costumes for adults – If you are 14 years of age or older, you may not wear a costume in the parks unless you are attending Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.
2. Masks – Unless you have a medical reason for a mask, you may not wear any form of a mask in the park if you are 14 years of age or older.
3. Obscene clothing – You may not wear clothing with objectionable material including obscene language or graphics.
4. Torn clothing – You may not wear clothing that is excessively torn.
5. Revealing clothing – You may not wear clothing which, by nature, exposes excessive portions of skin that may be viewed as inappropriate for a family environment.
6. Objectionable tattoos – Have a tattoo that would make others uncomfortable? You better cover it up before you try to get in the parks.
7. Wedding attire – Disney charges a pretty penny for you to get photographed in your wedding dress and tux in the parks. They won’t let you in the parks in your wedding attire unless it is for one of the special portrait sessions.
8. Multiple layers – If you choose to wear multiple layers, you are subject to search upon entry.
9. Lack of Shoes – You must wear shoes at all time. This includes toddlers who ride in a stroller. As long as you are carrying them or pushing them, shoeless is fine. But if you put them down on the ground, they must have on shoes especially at the character meets.
10. Lack of a Shirt – You must always wear a shirt. Plus you want to keep your skin covered from the Florida sun.

MNSSHP next month for us! Can adults wear a hat to a costume? It’s a witch hat, so nothing over face.

I feel like they have become a little lazy about the appropriate attire the last few times in. I think sometimes they dont want to offend people.
