Happy Mother’s Day to all my awesome readers!
I can’t believe there is only 12 days until Disney! I am so excited. I spent today scheduling posts for during our trip. I love that feature about WordPress software. I could schedule a post for 3 years from now if I wanted to. :)
That’s pretty much all I did today to get ready for the trip.
How was your Mother’s Day?
Happy Mother’s Day! I hosted a cook-out for my mom and mother-in-law. It was good, but busy!
It was low key after a gathering for my mom on Saturday. I got cards a shirt and hubby cooked lunch. He also cleaned out a root that was growing in my garden- it was larger than my arm in diameter- so will soon be ready to plant some flowers!
I’m not a mom, but I gave my mom a great Mother’s Day by sending her two dozen roses. She was very happy. Happy Mother’s Day to all you moms out there.
I had a wonderful Mother’s Day thanks to my awesome family :) Thanks for asking, hehe.
My Mother’s Day was quite lovely, even though we spent more than I would’ve liked eating out, but hey, at least I didn’t have to do dishes, right? :D Hope yours was wonderful, Kristin!
I had a wonderful day. I was able to sleep in. My two boys gave me some cute costume jewelry and pj’s.I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day.
Great day. My boys took me to see Iron Man 2 (with free movie tickets I earned while grocery shopping) and then they took me to a restaurant from a restaurant.com GC. Nice cheap day. Now they are leaving me alone so I could just veg and plan our Disney trip.
My mothers day consisted of two great kids, one great husband, chicken& sausage gumbo, hoppin john, cornbread, beignets, and a special showing of the Princess and the Frog! Hope everyone’s day was as great as mine!
Happy Mothers Day to all! (mine was less than exciting but necessary)
2 exciting things happened this week for my very special Aunt! I got her the free collage photo from wallgreens. I had “The First Day of Forever” printed at the top and used photos of her recent adoption day for her 2 new forever sons on it!! She loved it!!!
Second was that 8 years ago they had gone to Disney. They had park hopper passes but it rained really bad one day so they didn’t go. The youngest of her oldest children graduated college along with his fiancĂ© this weekend and are taking their little girl to Disney this upcoming weekend. My Aunt recalled having the passes ( and even knew where they were which is amazing in itself!). She gave them to her son. So for the 2 Days the plan to be at Disney (and the daughter being free since she is 2) they will only have to pay for 1 ticket total! The 3 passes she still had thy get to use!!! They cost $50ish back then so it’s a great deal. She felt so good about being able to help them get to Disney!!
We were at Disney last weekend for 5 days, so I spent the evening uploading those pictures. During the day we relaxed…which we NEVER do! We let the kids pretty much watch TV and play games most of the day…no hassle! Just an easygoing Mothers Day!
How excited are you to go on your trip?!!? We’re seasonal passholders, and it’s just as exciting EVERY time we go! LOVE IT!!!
Good luck valerie, I am moving in 3 months and am already stressed!
We’re moving Tuesday – so I packed and packed and packed and packed…
Happy Mother’s Day to you and everyone else who follows your blog. I hope everyone had a great one!
