Taking 10-13 year olds to Animal Kingdom? Here is a plan that is sure to please their adventurer side!
Dining reservation to make: Yak and Yeti at 12:30
Fastpass+ reservations to make: Kilimanjaro Safari Fastpass+ for 9:45 – 10:45 am; Expedition Everest Fastpass+ for 11:45 – 12:45 pm; Kali River Rapids Fastpass+ reservation for 2:30 – 3:30
*Arrive at Animal Kingdom at least 30 minutes before the gates open
*Grab your Times Guide and map of the animals
*When the park opens, head to Dinoland
*Ride Primeval Whirl twice
*Ride Dinosaur
*Exit Dinoland and head towards Africa
*Ride Kilimanjaro Safaris with the Fastpass+ for 9:45 – 10:45 am
*Get a Dole Whip from Tamu Tamu
*Line up for the 11 am showing of Lion King Show (Check the Times Guide to make sure it is starting at this time)
*Head towards Asia
*Use Fastpass+ for Expedition Everest for 11:45 – 12:45 pm
*Lunch at Yak and Yeti at 12:30
*Line up for afternoon showing of Up! A Great Bird Adventure
*Use Fastpass+ for Kali River Rapids or Flight of Passage for 2:30 – 3:30 (don’t forget to stow your valuables in a free locker located near the entrance to the attraction)
Now you can either see the 4:00 showing of Finding Nemo: The Musical or head on back to your resort for an early night of swimming and relaxing. Or you could even go to Disney Springs.
