If you like the taste of flavored iced tea, but don’t like all the steps to make it, then you’ll love this idea! All it takes is a few simple steps, and you can have tea flavored like just about anything
you’d like. These are instructions to make 1 gallon, but you can adjust it accordingly, if you need a little or a lot.
1) Take 2 regular family sized tea-bags, and two flavored tea bags
(your choice), and place them in a 2 cup measuring cup. Fill with
water and microwave for 3 1/2 minutes.
2) While the tea bags are in the microwave, measure out desired amount
of sugar into 1 gallon pitcher. I typically used 1/2 -3/4 cup per
gallon.
3) Pour your hot water/tea mix into the sugar, making sure to use a
wooden spoon to “squeeze” out the tea bags, and stir until all sugar
is dissolved.
4) Fill remainder of pitcher with cold water. Stir again.
5) Add ice and enjoy!
