Each Disney World visit I look forward to revisiting my favorite attractions, shows and more. However, I also love visiting the new additions. 2019 brought the opening of a whole new land, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios. Plus, a new mode of transportation for guests named Disney Skyliner. While 2019 was an amazing year, there were a few things we said goodbye to. Read 5 things we lost in 2019 at Disney World.
5 Closings We Saw At Disney World In 2019:
The SpectacuLAB at Innoventions in Epcot closed on January 13, 2019. This show demonstrated science experiments and knowledge in a fun way, present by real scientists. It first opened in November, 2017.
Royal Majesty Makers are no longer teaching children how to be princes or princesses in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom. This show closed on October 6, 2019.
The Muppets Present…Great Moments in American History was a performance in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom. Featuring Kermit, Miss Piggy and more as they retold American History with hilarious twists. This show ended on October 6, 2019.
Illuminations: Reflections of Earth had its last performance on September 30, 2019, after nearly a 20-year run as Epcot’s nighttime spectacular. Then on October 1, 2019, a temporary show named Epcot Forever will light up the night. Epcot Forever explores the past, present and future of Epcot through music, lighting, fireworks and more special effects. This show will run through 2020, until a permanent nighttime spectacular makes its way to Epcot.
The American Adventure pavilion in Epcot is gaining, Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue. To make way for this new eatery, Liberty Inn closed on July 8, 2019.
