Visiting Disney World means access to award winning food, much more than just hamburgers and French fries. While that option is still there for a craving, there are easy ways to eat healthy at Disney. Consider these
1. Children
Children will find familiar foods on Kids’ Mickey Check Meals and Kid’s Meals on Disney menu across the parks. Disney makes it easy by offering sides such as fruit cups, vegetables, GoGo squeeZ® Applesauce or Grapes. Plus, look for the Power Packs on select Kid’s Menus which include a variety of foods for picky eaters.
2. Recommended Restaurants
Consider these restaurants for healthy options:
Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen at Magic Kingdom.
Satu’li Canteen in Animal Kingdom.
Sunshine Seasons or Electric Umbrella at Epcot.
3. Snacks
While sweets are certainly available, so are healthier options such as hummus, nuts, a pickle, whole fruit, mixed fruit and more. Look for food kiosks throughout the parks. Below is a list of recommended food kiosks by park for healthy snack options.
Healthy Snack Options:
- Liberty Square Market at Magic Kingdom
- Prince Eric’s Village Market at Magic Kingdom
- Anaheim Produce at Hollywood Studios
- Harambe Fruit Market at Animal Kingdom
- Sunshine Seasons at Epcot
4. Water
Guests may ask a cast member at any counter service or snack station that serves soda and ask for a cup of ice water. Beat the heat, stay hydrated and healthy for free at the parks. Also, consider bringing in your own reusable water bottle, such as a Britta.
Pro Tip: Carry sticks of Crystal Light or To Go to flavor the water for a tasty, frugal drink that is healthier than soda.
5. My Disney Experience App
