Wondering where to meet Merida in Walt Disney World? There is one location you can find her.
You can meet Merida in Fairy Tale Garden at the Magic Kingdom – located on the far right side of the castle on the path from Tomorrowland to Fantasyland.
Merida’s meet and greet is unique. She meets intermittently from 9:15 am – 6:45 pm in a grand royal room and courtyard of a Scottish Castle. Once admitted to the meet and greet area, kids can color pictures from the movie and even practice archery while parents stand along the path waiting for their family’s turn to meet Merida.
The line to Merida’s Meet and Greet forms outside Fairy Tale Gardens along the wall. The entire family is not required to stand in line. Have one member of your party head to the meet and greet area to check in with the Cast Member. They will let you know at which time you will be allowed in to meet Merida. Have the rest of the family join the line about 10 minutes before your meet time. This is a great meet & greet to do when the kids need a break from standing in line since there are things for them to in Fairy Tale Garden while you stand in line. You are in a contained area and you can see the activity spaces from the line, so let the kids color and play while you wait!
The best time to meet Merida with minimal wait is going to be as soon as the park opens. On the day you plan to meet her, arrive to the Magic Kingdom at least 30 minutes before opening. When you are allowed to enter the park, head straight to Fairy Tale Garden for the first meet up of the day (9:15 am). Or, book Fastpass+ reservations that day for 10 am, 11 am or 12 pm.
