Inviting friends to share Fastpass+ and Memory Maker pictures with is not easy. It took me a good 20 minutes to figure this out the first time. So to help you save time in your day, I decided to put together a post on how to invite friends on My Disney Experience:
Sign into MyDisneyExperience.com and then select “My Friends & Family List” from the drop down menu.
Once you are redirected to the page, scroll down to the bottom and click on “Add a Guest”
On the Add a Guest page you have 3 options to choose from.
You have 3 options to choose from to add a Guest. If you know their hotel reservation number it is the easiest way to add them. If you want to add them by email, you’ll need to select the “I’ll enter their name and age” option. It isn’t very clear!
Once you select that they are an adult, it will auto populate with another field where you can select if you will manage their plans or invite them to connect. Click on “Invite this Guest to connect” and a field for their email address that they use on their MyDisneyExperience account will appear. Fill in the fields and invite the Guest.
They will receive both an email invitation and an alert on their MyDisneyExperience.com account to accept your invitation.
Once they have accepted your invitation, go back to the “My Friends & Family List” from the drop down menu within your MyDisneyExperience account. Click on “Add a Guest” and then select the option to “Find through my connected Guest.” This will bring up a list of all of the people affiliated with your friend’s account. This includes their spouse and children:
Select the people you want to add to your account. Once that is completed select Done at the bottom.
You should now be able to see and manage everyone’s Fastpasses. Just make sure you don’t accidentally cancel them!

When I click on “connected guests” it says that there are none. I have two other families going with me and I cannot figure out how to add their spouses and children! I know I did this last year (my first trip) and it worked, but no idea what is wrong with it this time.

did you figure this out by any chance?

I am having the same issue. Had no issues last summer with my sons family. I just added a friend, but trying to add his family through connected quest and I get the same read out as you did.

Thanks for this, I was having a lot of trouble figuring out what to do if they already had an account. This is the only article that spells it out plainly!

Thank you! Exactly what I needed. The app does not make this clear at all!

Does anyone know once you link your friends can they change fast passes through the linked account if you are the one that booked them?

Thank you so much! I was getting so frustrated trying to figure out how to link with my sister and her family. Nothing I could find on Disney’s site explained it. It’s definitely not intuitive to select the name and age option.
