Play Heads Up At The Disney Parks

One of our favorite ways to pass time in line is to play Heads Up at the Disney Parks. This is an app by Ellen Degeneres that retails for $0.99. You place the phone on your forehead and someone else calls out the clues to you. If you guess the word displayed on the phone correctly, you get a point. If they don’t know the clue, you can pass it without penalty and move on to the next one. It also records a video as you play of the people giving out the clues. It is highly entertaining!

They have added a Disney Parks deck that is free if you download it after you check in from a Disney Park. It has clues like attractions, characters, shows, resorts and lots more! I just played a round and here are the words that I got in this round:

WDW Souvenir Spotter Keeps Track Of Your Souvenir Purchases

I am a budgeter even when we are at Walt Disney World. We are each allowed a specific souvenir budget and I encourage everyone to spend a few days browsing the shops before settling on their purchases. We usually take pictures of the items that we would like and attempt to remember all the important information (what shop it was found in, how much it cost, etc.).

I was recently introduced to the WDW Souvenir Spotter which is great for sticking with your budget! This app helps you keep track of all the items you are interested in purchasing in one central place. The app has you take a photo of your find, add a price, who it’s for and any other important information you need to remember. You can even share your finds on social networks and view the GPS coordinates of the item in case you forgot where it was located.

What is a Hidden Mickey?

According to the official guide, a hidden Mickey is a partial or complete impression of Mickey Mouse placed by the Imagineers and artists to blend into the designs of Disney attractions, hotels, restaurants, and other areas. The most common Hidden Mickey form is the tri-circle Mickey frontal silhouette: three circles that form Mickey’s round head and adjoining round ears.
