Yes, Fastpass+ are really worth your time, and worth getting up for them at 7am (ET) on the dot on your booking date. Guests staying on-site may book 60 days out while off-site guests must wait till 30 days from arrival date to book. This gives guests staying on site a huge 30-day advantage. However, do not lose hope it is possible to find Fastpass+ later on as people cancel. Just keep checking (just keep swimming Dory voice). Fastpass+ are a guaranteed way to avoid 3 lines per day per park, and free to use.
Rope Drop (Pick Your Top Choice Attraction)
The early bird gets the worm, as in the early guests get an attraction or 2 to enjoy with little to no line. To ensure little to no wait on your prized attraction, allow at least an hour travel time. Then make rope drop at your park of choice, and head straight to your attraction of choice. This is the perfect opportunity to enjoy at least 1 attraction with little to no wait, perhaps a top attraction you were unable to snag a Fastpass+ for, think Slinky Dog Dash (Hollywood Studios), Flight of Passage (Animal Kingdom), Test Track (Epcot) and more.
