One of the best things about a Disney World vacation is once you have your park tickets, much is included within the parks! Ride as many rides as you can, see stage shows and more. Below are budget friendly things to do in Magic Kingdom, most are free with your park ticket and a couple have a small cost associated.
8 Budget Friendly Things To Do At Magic Kingdom:
1. Get Your Free Button
First Visit? Anniversary? Birthday? There is a button for that. Often guests can find Cast Members along Main St USA handing them out in the mornings. Simply ask for your free button and you will receive. This is a fun keepsake.
2. Mail A Postcard
Postcards are still around and sold in gift shops at Magic Kingdom. Consider mailing a Postcard to friends & family back home, stop on Main St USA and drop your postcard in the mailbox.
3. Visit Cinderella’s Fountain
Find Cinderella’s Fountain behind her Castle. Learn why you should visit this little known gem and bow down to this fountain.
4. Admire The Mosaic Murals
Walk through Cinderella’s Castle and the beautiful mosaic murals are hard to miss. However, many just pass on by, consider spending a few minutes to look at the mosaics. They re-tell the classic story of Cinderella. There are over 1-million pieces of glass in 500 different colors, some parts even contain 14-karat Gold and Silver!
5. Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade
Test your cowboy or cowgirl skills at this old fashioned Shootin’ Arcade in Frontierland. Choose your rifle and aim for the targets (rifles do not actually shoot anything, instead using beam technology). This does cost some pocket change to play.
6. A Pirate’s Adventure
Head to Adventureland for A Pirate’s Adventure, where guests are given a secret Treasure map (yours to keep). Complete missions and get a special treasure finder card, collect all 5 and get an exclusive final card signed by Captain Jack Sparrow! This is free to participate.
7. Enlist At The Firehouse
Guests can enlist for Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom at the Firehouse near the parks entrance. Embark on a secret mission to defeat Villains. Plus, the spell cards you earn are yours to keep and make a great souvenir (at no cost)!
8. Get Sprinkled with Pixie Dust
Young princes and princesses can be transformed at Magic Kingdom’s Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Guests can stop by and ask a Fairy Godmother in Training to sprinkle their hair for free. Sparkle with some Pixie Dust!
