With the reopening of the Disney Theme Parks, Be Our Guest dropped their Quick-Service breakfast completely and changed their Quick-Service lunch to a prix fixe 3-course menu. Adults are $62 and children are $37. They continue to offer the prix fixe 3-course menu for dinner as well.
The Beast is present for both meals, but due to social distancing he walks through the dining room briskly for you to catch a glimpse of him.
I was able to get a reservation on the day the park reopened to Passholders. They seated me in front of the big picture windows in The Grand Ballroom where I could watch the snow fall outside. A paper was provided with a QR code to scan in order to view the menu.
The choices were limited, but I opted for the Assorted Meats and Artisanal Cheese Selection as my appetizer. Plus they have a bread service with very interesting sea salted butter. I love a good cheese plate and there were plenty of choices. Every member of the table can choose their own appetizer from the menu (I was dining alone).
For my appetizer, I chose the Center-cut Filet Mignon. My Grandmother always taught me to choose Filet Mignon when it is a choice….and I felt closer to her by opting for it. Oh my…. it was such a tender, juicy and delicious cut of meat. The sauce they used really added that extra flavor that makes a steak incredible.
One must have The Grey Stuff when you dine at Be Our Guest. The grey stuff on this dinner selection comes in a white chocolate shaped Chip cup. Isn’t that the cutes thing ever? It also comes with a Dark Chocolate Truffle and a Lemon Jam Macaroon. It was all very rich and there was no way to finish it all…. If you were dining with others, they would all receive their own dessert trio.
The Beast did make an appearance. He walked through The Grand Ballroom to a special music selection. He didn’t stop for poses even at a safe distance.
Overall the meal at Be Our Guest was delicious although I really miss the Quick-Service lunch offering (the Croque Monsieur sandwich is AMAZING!). I do always enjoy dining in the castle.
