@Disney DVC
Do you want to enjoy all the comforts at home and Disney each year? Than a Disney Vacation Club (DVC) villa could be right for you! It is one of my dreams to someday own DVC at Disney World. Today learn a bit more about Disney DVC.
The villas have a kitchen and private bedrooms, just like home. Plus, pack less clothing as you have a washer and dryer too! Disney World has 15 DVC destinations including Disney Riviera Resort, Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Jambo House and many more.
About Disney Vacation Club
DVC is a unique real estate interest you can buy into. Offering Disney Vacation Club members a flexible timeshare based on the purchase of Vacation Points. Then members can use their Vacation Points when and where they want! Return to the magic at Disney and beyond. Members are not locked into any length of stay, time of year or a specific Resort.
What is the Cost?
Now let’s dive into the real question, what is the cost to own DVC? Well, it starts at $195.00 per point with a minimum of 100 points purchased (as of Summer 2020).
For Example, a one-time cost buy into Disney’s Riviera Resort is $19,500 (100 points at $195 each). The closing costs add another $598.83 for a total of $20,098.83. Since most guests do not have this kind of cash lying around, you can finance the cost for as low as $251.79/month (based on a 10yr loan with a 10% down payment). There is also a monthly fee associated with owning DVC. For the example mentioned with Disney’s Riviera Resort, the monthly fees are $69.25 for this.
Now you may be wondering, how many points does it take to stay? A room at Disney Riviera Resort, for example, starts at just 11 Vacation Points per night.
