When you are setting your grocery budget, it’s important to have a goal to work towards. Don’t expect to spend the same amount as other families right out of the gate, but it’s good to know how much others are spending on groceries….
Please answer the following questions
What is your weekly grocery budget?
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)?
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those?
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce?
My weekly budget is $125 but I hope to get it lower. We have two adults, a 13 year old daughter, and a 11 year old son, no pets. I include health, beauty, and cleaning products in this budget because normally I can get them for free or cheap so it really isn’t that much. I do have a stockpile and I might be able to go for three months with it only.
I don’t see why other people are ashamed about their monthly grocery budget! I guess I really need to figure mine out, but see due to the fact because I’m the main provider for my family and don’t have enough money after paying bills to get food, we have food stamps, for the whole entire month were allowed $315 I think…..it might be more than that! I can’t remember off the top of my head. So I guess that is the budget then. That includes two adults and two children. That food budget doesn’t include non-food stuff. The non food stuff I usually budget $50…I get paid bi-weekly, so what I can afford I usually put it towards that stuff. I don’t ever feel like I have extra money towards the end. I’ll be glad when I get my vehicle paid off which takes the majority of my pay check which is $357.36 ( I love my vehicle….just not what I’m paying) as you can tell we are on an extremely tight budget! I would love to be able to set aside money, but I don’t. I do have a separate savings account that isn’t linked to my other checking and savings account and put money towards that every paycheck (it automatically goes there)
I do have a stockpile, we have a total of three freezers, two refrigerators, I know I’m stocked on Toilet Paper and Female products to last me quite some time. I think on some certain food products I am too, I could imagine my stock pile at least lasting me several months, hard to say per say!
This is all new and we are on our 2nd week of a real budget…trying hard to make it work!!
1) Weekly budget for food is $75.
2) 2 adults and 2 small children
3) our seperate household weekly budget is $25 for diapers, paper products.
4) Stockpile? No…and that is definetly something I hope to learn how to build.
This site is SO helpful!
Our grocery budget for a family of 8 is 600.00 per month. This includes 2 adults, 3 teenagers, a 10 year old, a 3 year old, and a 2 year old. That does include dog food and diapers. We do have a stockpile, and it would probably last us a few months if it had to.
200.00 monthly. How my hubbys check falls as I’m out of work right now. We have 2 in the family. no pets
we buy in bulk, so I have a freezer and pantry. We could go about 2 months if we stretched it with a few meals without meat.
What is your weekly grocery budget? Between $100 and $150/wk
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)? 6 ppl, My husband and I and 4 children, 6 yr old b,g twins; a 5 yr old girl and a 23 mo old girl.
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those? I used to, but I have stocked up on all my toiletries like razors, toothpaste, deodorant, bodywash and shampoo. I’ve also stocked up on laundry detergent, hand soap. So I don’t buy anything on this list anymore except for dog food which is about $45/mo and diapers which I buy a few when I have multiple coupons and they are on sale, so about $20-$30/mo.
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? Non edible about a year. Edible, I can barely keep a stock pile of food. I don’t have room to stock up on a ton of things, but we go through food too fast to stock it. plus I don’t have that many coupons for the same item all the time.
What is your weekly grocery budget? $200.00 every 2 weeks
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)? 4 adults, 2 teenages.
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those? Yes, we have 2 dogs, 3 cats, 2 rabbits and fish. Plus all household cleaners and paper products must come from this budget.
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? I am new to serious couponing and can’t wait to start my stock pile. I live in central Minnesota. We do not have any stores in Minnesota that double coupons except for 1 that allows for up to 5 coupons on 1 specific day a week. Any help in this area is greatly appreciated.
I include all of that in my budget.. and I do have a stockpile. I am currently rebuilding my stockpile, it takes some time to build up!
I went to the store today and bought pantry staples and household necessitates. I did use 1 high dollar coupon and a regular one. I hope I can find money in my food budget to start a stockpile soon.
Wow, I am amazed at some of the replies in here. I am not a couponer, never have been. I desperately need to start learning, though!
1. What is your weekly grocery budget?
$250 – $300
2. How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)?
2 adults, 5 childrens ages 8, 4, 2, and 10 month old twins.
3. Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those?
No … weekly it is about $75
4. Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce?
Not anymore, we have been getting into the stock pile more and more frequently lately and now, it is pretty much gone.
I feel for you, because im right there with you!
We have my husband and I and our 5 kids, 3 teen boys, a premenstral preteen girl and a 7 y.o. girl.
Stock piling is almost a far fetched dream. The kids inhale food to the point we had to buy chickens to save on eggs! We have been able to stock up on dry goods…TP and detergents, razors, ect. But food, its hard! :)
I will say one thing, the kids are getting “better” snack type junk food now that I have figured out how to get things for free, or close to. So maybe that is why they eat everything they see… it was never here before.
Just keep your head up, your binder organized and have faith that you will receive what you need to get by with your wonderful family! Good luck!
1) Our weekly budget is $250.
2) We are a family of 10, 2 adults & 8 kids (12,12,13,14,14,15,16,18) plus one dog.
3) yes
4) no :(
Our weekly budget is $75. We are a family of four, 2 adults and 2 elementary-aged boys. Dog food is the only thing not included in our budget and we spend $40 a month because our doggies have sensitive stomachs and can only take one brand. What I have I would not consider a stock pile although I have several boxes of pasta, canned soup, canned veggies and cereal on hand at any given time. I am working on a stockpile though and try to buy a few extra items while they are priced well to build it up.
1) $125 – However this is what is budgeted, not what we always spend. It’s usually less. But had to increase what the budget on this was due to price increases and stricter coupon policies.
2) 5 – 2 Adults, 3 Children (2.5, 6 & 8)
3) Yes
4) Yes, Food stockpile would last us 2-3 months. Toiletries stockpile would last us 12 months.
OMG!! Either I need help or someone is stretching the truth on the food budget! I have 2 adults and 4 children, ages 20, 16, 14, and 12. Our food “budget” is running around $1200-$1400 per month. This includes anything and everything that we buy at a grocery store, be it Safeway, Costco, Fred Meyer, etc. I read on this page where people are spending $50 a week, $100 week, $500 month for their ENTIRE food and cleaning budget?! Get specific. Send me your shopping list, where you shop, what you buy, I need to know. I do not want to spend $1400 if it can be done for $400. Let me see how it is done.
This may be a little late but I wanted to reach out for help. I’ve tried to start coupon clipping but can’t seem to get it right. We are living tightly from paycheck to paycheck in a one income family. It has gotten to the point where I have considered going back to work and spending half of my paycheck just to get an increase in our food/household items budget.
1. What is your weekly grocery budget?

2. How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)?

No, we are frequently running out of things because our budget has kept us limited to buying very little.
What is your weekly grocery budget? $100 ish
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)? 4 – 2 adults, 3 year old, 1 year old, 1 dog
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those? Now that I am couponing, these items are included. And lucky for me, I have a diaper fairy who gave us a year supply of diapers as a 1 yr birthday gift for our son! So that helps a lot!
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? I’ve only been couponing for 2 months. My stockpile is growing. We are set on cleaning products, laundry detergent, soap/body wash, deoderant, toothpaste and paper products for 6 months or so. Food – mabye a month. Longer if we only eat cereal and granola bars! :) Thanks for all your help! We live in a small town with only one major chain store. I have to drive 90 minutes to find stores that really make the most of couponing. But just in the little that I have saved, we have been able to afford gas to drive to the bigger city once a month and make the most of coupons to get the stockpile growing. Thanks again!

Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those? NO, 20.00
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? yes, about one week
My grocery budget is $125 a week – includes 4 adults, 2 boys ages 19 and 14 and my mother who eats dinner with us 2-3 days a week. This amount includes EVERYTHING – food, cleaners, make-up, soap, deoderants, etc. Yes, I have a small stockpile, it would probably last me 2 months – I would have more, but I share and donate a lot of stuff. I appreciate the time you take to cull information for us to help make our job of saving money easier! :-)
Yes, we have a grocery budget. It’s $125 per week. We have 5 people in our family; mom, dad, and 3 boys ages 8,5,&2. In my budget I include cleaners, diapers, food, basically anything I buy at the grocery store. Yes, I have a stockpile and I think we could last 4-6 months with only buying fresh items. However, I think we could last longer if I didn’t donate so much. But, I like to only allow myself to store so much. So if a good deal comes along and I don’t have room for it, I buy it and donate it. That way I get to have fun saving money and help others, it’s a WIN-WIN for me!
Our weekly budget is roughly 75$. Or roughly 300$ a month. We have a 4 person family. Me, 34, my husband, 40 and two kids, ages 4 and 2. Don’t forget our 8 year old dog and 14 year old cat! We do include cleaners, diapers and pet food in our budget. Unfortunately these are the items that usually push us OVER our budget because we buy them in bulk every couple of months. We have a small stockpile in the basement that I think would last us about 3 months. We’d have some strange meals with the items stockpiled though. Hehehehhe.
What is your weekly grocery budget? I don’t know. :-( I try to spend as little as possible, but I don’t have a set budgeted amount. I will make an effort to make a simple budget this very week! (I’m thinking, based on our typical grocery spending, that it’s around $50 – $100 or so a week.
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)? 2 adults and an almost-2-year-old
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those? No, I was thinking food items only. We don’t have a pet, haven’t had to buy cleaners in years, use mostly cloth diapers, and don’t buy much in the way of health/beauty items. (Toothpaste and the like I usually get free when there are RR/ECB deals at Walgreens and CVS. This is thanks to your blog!) Still, we do need toilet paper and a few other things. So I’d say, oh, I don’t know, $5 a week of so for those types of items.
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? Let’s see … we have TONS of pasta, several cans of beans, TONS of salsa, and a bunch of frozen items, if that counts. Add in milk, bread, and fresh produce, and we could eat for 2-3 months, I think (because of the pasta). The only problem is there would be no rice! We are almost out of rice. We go through it so fast. Unfortunately, we only like one particular brand, so it’s hard to stockpile. If it ever goes on sale, I will buy a bunch!
About $40.00 a week for a family of 4 2 adults a 10 year old and a 6 year old.
I usually do an extra $20.00 a month for extra’s
We don’t really have a stockpile. I do have extras in our pantry but I would love to build a stockpile. It’s hard in NW washington because only one store will double coupons and they only allow 3 per transaction.
What is your weekly grocery budget? $80
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)? 2 adults & a 4 year old
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those? included in the $100
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? Yes, I have a stockpile. My stockpile would probably last about 1 month. I don’t have a huge pantry so I have a lot of those type items in a cabinet in my laundry room.
What is your weekly grocery budget? $100.00
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)? 2 adults and 1 boy age 11.
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those? Yes – budget includes everything!
Do you have a stockpile? Yes, a small one, but I would like to grow it. My problem is where to store it all – our pantry is not very large. How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? probably about a month.
my goal is $75 per week on average, which includes pet food (dog, cat and guinea pig), people food (me, dh, 2 teenage daughters) .
I have a growing stockpile, but mainly health and beauty as they keep eating the FOOD!
I have been couponing for a while but became serious after the rite aid toilet paper extravaganza in January (still using that tp and tissues)
I budget about $10 for hba.
Recently I went two weeks spending only $45 for the entire2 week period.
we used to spend about $250 a week for a family of 4. that includes all our cleaning, bathroom, dog and regular food. but since our budget has taken a hit, i have put our budget down to $100 a week. and i have only reached that a couple of times. i struck gold when i went to the 99 cent store. now i go to the dollar store, the 99 cent store first, then hit all the local grocery stores, and drug stores with my coupons. target is a favorite ssince i can use their store coupons with manufacturer, and save a lot more. and thanks to the coupons, i hardly ever pay for deoderant or cleaning supplies. i will never go back to not using coupons, i just wish i had found this way of shopping earlier. but i am already teaching my kids, so hopefully they will be couponers too ;)
What is your weekly grocery budget? i dont have a weekly budget. i have 200 a month to spend(it will be more with baby now) and i have tried to make it 50 a week but i never stick to that

Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? yes i have a stockpile. im building it up now so it probably wouldnt last too long until i stock up more
1: $100.00 a week but normally I can go shopping every 10 days on $100.00 instead of every 7 days.
2: 5 people (2 adults age 28, 40- 3 kids 16, 10, 6) the 16 and 10 year olds are only there 1/2 of the month.
3: $100.00 includes cleaners, health and beauty. No pet food or diapers needed at our home.
4:Yes we could get by with food for at least a month or so but toiletries and cleaners about 6-9 months easy.
What is your weekly grocery budget? around $50
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)? 2 adults +17 yr. old son
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those? yes
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? on some non food items, and a few food items – pasta, sauce, salad dressing, canned veggies
I have learned to budget my money to about $30-$40 a week considering I get paid once a month it’s a hard thing to do, but by the end of the month it is even tighter! In my home there is me and my husband and our two sons ages 9 & 2 and two dogs! I don’t include my pet products in my weekly food budget, but they usually cost me about $25.00 a month on their food. Right now I don’t really have a stock pile. I’m trying to build it up, but what I did have and what extra I had I donated it to my community when we had a tornado come thru. I would rather have helped someone else out than have all this laundry detergent and soaps and toothpastes sitting around when someone else needs it more than I do at that moment. I know that we all will be blessed!
God bless you, your family and your community!
What is your weekly grocery budget? We try to spend $100 a week now that I have taken couponing serious – we are getting a good stockpile and that helps us stick to it better.
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)? 4 (2 adults and 2 teen girls)
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those? yes I include them those items we are stockpiled pretty good and now I only buy the GREAT deals

How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? We could go a month to two with no problem might be eating cereal by the end but hey we would still have food!!
We have so much cereal, too! I didn’t even buy it to create a stockpile … I bought it because of the Toy Story 3 promotion last year!
What is your weekly grocery budget?
– $50 per week (includes groceries & toiletries)
2) How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)?
-2 adults & 1 infant (1 yr)
3) Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those?
– I include dog food, all toiletries & cleaners in our $50/week budget. I don’t include diapers because I try to buy the huge boxes on Amazon that usually last us a month, which is usually about $20/month.
4) Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce?
– Yes, I have a stockpile. I think our grocery stockpile would last us at least 2 weeks. Our toiletries/cleaners stockpile would last us at least a month if not more!
Wow! I’m reading these budgets and I’m embarrased to say we budget $120 a week for two people (both adults). Of course we have three cats on special senior diets and that doesn’t help the situation. Now we don’t spend that much every week, that’s just how much we put back. Usually we spend $60-$80 and bank the rest in our Disney Fund. But there have been weeks where we’ve gone over.
I’m absolutely amazed by all the women in here who can keep their budgets so low while supporting a family. It just goes to shows how resourcesful and smart you all truly are. You should all feel so very proud of that accomplishment. You’re all truly amazing women!
My budget is $100 per week and that includes pet food, cleaners and heath/beauty.
My stockpile would probably last about a month.
Our budget for the month is $80 or less (usually closer to $40)
there are 3 of us (37,46,5)
yes pet food, cleaners and health & beauty is included in our monthly budget
We have a small stock pile. Enough food for about 1-2 months. Health & Beauty about 4 months.
Just started couponing in the last month, due to only having 1 income. I homeschool our son and I can’t find a part time job (have applied everywhere) money has been real tight. Husband lost his high paying job in 2009, lost our house, moved twice in 1 year. He has a job paying less than half what he made. Couponing has really come in handy in the last month (once I got the basics figured out)

There are 4 of us and our budget is about $125 – $150 a week That includes 2 csts, no diapers, all cleaning and OTC meds plus snacks at least once a month for church groups or DH’s classroom.
Right now I have a stock pile of Body wash, cereal and Spag sauce, that’s about it.
Our grocery budget is $150 every two weeks for 2 people. This covers 3 meals per day during the weekdays. Saturday is just eat whatever whenever, with a big family meal on Sundays. No kids to buy diapers for but we do have 3 dogs. Our budget doesn’t include dog food because 2 of the dogs have allergies that require us to buy a more expensive brand of dog food, which normally runs about $50 per month.
We do have a stockpile of things like condiments, rice, beans, peanut butter, and canned goods. Enough to last a month if we had no other choice.
1) My weekly budget for my family is about $150 a week. My wife and I really try to save money with coupons and price matching.
2) There are 3 people in my family; me, 26 years; my wife, 24years; and my daughter, 9 years.

4) We are trying to start our own stockpile. In regards to health and beauty items, we could be okay for about 6 months. In regards to food, we would be okay for about 2 months.

Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? No. I used to have a massive one, but we moved to Florida where there aren’t any coupon doubles or triples, and with 3 kids, I just don’t have the time to ‘coupon’ the way I used to. We barely have any food at all in the house right now, thank goodness tomorrow is payday! I plan on using lots of coupons to get things cheap/free, but they’ll all be gone by next Friday.
1. 3 people myself, my husband and our newborn 2 month old baby
2. I try to stick to about $60 a week, but lately it’s been more.
3. I pick up things like diapers and cleaning supplies when I can find a good deal on them. If I need something like TP or laundry detergent adn there are no good deals I try to work it into my budget and get the cheapest brand I can find.
4. It seems any time I stock up on things my husband goes hog wild. I can stock some things like pasta and pasta sauce, but if I stocked up on something like frozen pizza, he would take that a sign that he should eat more frozen pizza. If I find a really good deal on something I usually stock up.

Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce?
Oh gosh I wish I had a food stockpile! We have a super tight income so the only thing I have stockpiled is those personal care items that were free- If I didn’t buy groceries we might only make it one month! yikes0

I need to say this, our $50 budget is not the budget we would like to have that’s all we can afford. That’s why I started couponing…Food, cleaners, health, and beauty items are not that cheap…Some weeks I don’t even get that $50. When we go over that $50 a bill gets put off until we can pay it…

Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce?
Yes, we have a stockpile of groceries and health and beauty items. I think we could live off of our stockpile for about 5-6 weeks if we had to.
Thanks for doing these giveaways!
Our weekly grocery budget is $60. It does not include diapers/ household needs. Diapers $42/every 2 months (I buy off of Amazon in bulk). Household needs (cleaners, laundry, etc.) $60/month. It is just my husband and I and our 5 month old baby. I have a food storage that will last us about a month!
My weekly grocery budget is around $75. There are 6 people in our family: 2 adults, 18 year old boy (who eats for at least two), 8 year old, 6 year old and 15 mo. old). We don’t have any pets. Diapers and cleaners are under a separate budget since I don’t usually buy them from the grocery store. I would guess about $20 a month. I rarely buy beauty items and wait for freebies. I do have a stockpile. I think it would last about a month.

We are a family of 6: 2 adults & 4 kids ranging from 1 to 8 and no pets. I probably spend $75 to $100 each week for everything except diapers. It’s hard to say what I spend on diapers. I buy them once a month at Toys R Us and what I pay just depends on what coupons & sales fall in my lap. I guess I average $25-$35/month on those. I do have a stock pile. We could probably last several months on personal products. I would say we could probably go 2 or 3 weeks on food before our dinner menus started to look odd, but if we were in a pinch I could stretch it out further.

Do you have a stockpile? Not really but I could probably go a month or so with out a problem How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? Month
My weekly budget is $75.00 for my husband, toddler, and myself. This also includes health and beauty products, diapers (before potty training), cleaners, etc. The only thing it doesn’t include is dog food for my two beastly coonhounds that eat about $1000.00 worth of dog food a year (I figured it out) due to major allergies of the one dog. I do not really have a stockpile as I only have one grocery store and two drug stores within a 90 min. drive (one way), so I don’t have opportunities to stockpile as the stores generally have a monopoly on business.
However, my husband and I are farmers and we grow and freeze our own veggies and some fruits to last us the whole year. Also, we have beef and pigs, so that meat is in our freezer already. We’ve also added chickens, so we’ll have some of those as well – hence the small budget. So that’s our only stockpile.

Pet food approximately 30/35 per month
Do you have a stockpile?
yes, small of canned foods and freezer items
How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce?
maybe a few weeks. We do not have a pantry and have a very small home, so I cannot stock pile as much as I’d like. Also, currently low on meat, waiting for the good sales before I stock pile my freezer again. A few times I ended up with only 50 or 60 dollars to get by with on groceries and we were fine those times because of the stockpile.

Although I am learning lots from your website.
I spend $150.00 for my family. 2 adults, 17 years old, 14 years old, 12 years old, 10 years old, 20 month old and a 10 month old. All boys except our 14 year old. Teenage boys should count as 2. :)
I do include cleaning supplies, diapers, formula, heath and beauty etc. in my budget. Before couponing this budget was $300.00 a week. I {heart} coupons!
We always try to keep our stock pile filled with 3 months of food. This 3 months supply includes the foods we eat everyday and everything else we need to survive including everything we need to make bread, powdered milk, meat (frozen and canned), etc. We also have a long term food storage for 2 years worth of essentials to keep us alive if necessary. We just added to this a #10 can of seeds so we can grow a garden if necessary. It is all packaged to store for 20 years.
What is your grocery budget? Well…I’m new to couponing and budgeting! My husband and I sat down and looked at what we currently spend and we spent around $1000 on groceriess and my gas for a month buying all organic through whole foods/sprouts. I never shopped with sale prices or couponing before. I decided to start couponing to save us money. We want a baby, and are going to have to spend a lot of money to make it happen :( Anyways, we cut that down to $800 for the month and I’m hoping to have a lot of money left over to put away for IVF, and then cut the budget down even more next month. I always thought that I would never be able to shop organic and coupon! Since finding your site, I’ve learned so much and have saved so much! I own a gym, am a zumba instructor, and am an NPC competitor, so eating clean is very important to me! I’m glad that I have learned that I can have the best of both worlds!! I cannot thank you enough!
How many people in your family-3–2 adults and a 6 year old boy
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those? Everything is included except for pet. We have two pugs and a maltese. One of our pugs and our maltese both have nervous system disorders. They need prescriptions, extra doc visits, emergency visits, extra shots, special dog food, etc. Very expensive. We tend to buy the food in excess and only buy it once everything four months or so…we don’t really have a budget for it. Every time we set a budget for our little guys to entail everything they need, it seems like an emergency hits and we drop a grand in a 48 hr vet visit with blood work and stuff. So we keep $100 budgeted for typical monthly stuff (meds, doc visits, shots) and keep some money tucked away for emergencies so we aren’t caught off guard and putting debt on our credit card.
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce?
Um…I have enough juice, tea, pasta, rice, and canned green beans/tomato sauce to last for a few months. I also have plenty of lotion, soap, razors, laundry soap, dish soap, deoderent and such to last about 6 months. Would definately have to get some toilet paper though! :)

I am working on building my stockpile we’ve just moved back stateside from Germany and were limited on the weight we were allowed to ship. I only have maybe a month right now.
What is your weekly grocery budget?
I run about $35 to $50 per week trying not to go over $200 in a month
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)?
4 people – 2 adults, 2 kids (8 yrs old, & 5 years old)
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those?
All in separate categories. Pets is probably the largest. Run about $40 a month for 1 large & 2 medium dogs (have on Science Diet purchased at feed store with coupons most months…sci diet keeps them healthy…less vet costs). Cleaners I stay around $10 a month (I hate to pay for cleaners so I coupon, freebie, samples, & yard sale them). Beauty items I purchase quality but also find the cheapest way (ebay, yard sales, asking around seeing if others have tried & if don’t like buy or trade for, discounts). I spend about $15 per month (including shampoo, body wash, etc). Ususally I stockpile the $15 so I can splurge on sales (like bath & body works yellow duck sale or whatever they call it).
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce?
We don’t necessarily have a stock pile…depends on sales and such. I have found that our family does better and circulates things better if I purchase just what we need (although if I can get it free or below $.50 I may stockpile, especially if it is an item that I can donate to food banks, etc). I do buy sugar, flour, etc in bulk (25 lbs) and found that if need be we can do a lot with the basics. We read, The Hole in the Gospel, earlier this year with our bible study group and just when I was desperately needing to go grocery shopping, it challenged us not to for the week. So we did it. We ate some strange stuff, but we realized that we actually had more than enough. I was a great lesson and one that has shaped our shopping. That is why I challenge myself to stay around $35 a week. Most people in the world live on $1 a day or less. I try to stay as tight as we can. Hope this gives you the insight you were looking for!
Here we go…

How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)? Just me and Hubby for now
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those? Yes, it’s all in one budget.
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? I have a ‘mini stockpile’ since we are getting ready for our week at the beach, we are working through it now, and we are already two weeks in, and I believe that we could go at least another two. It may not be always be what we want to eat, but we eat it anyway!

Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? I do have a stockpile and I have been pretty much focusing on free to really cheap stuff, other than the basics for a while now. We could probably survive on it for at least 2 months.
1) Weekly budget is $75
2) 2 adults & 18 month old daughter
3) Everything is included in the budget
4) Food products only about a month, Household and personal products about 6 months
Weekly budget: $90
2 adults, 2 kids (9 &4)
I include everything except dog food
I do have a stockpile and we could probably eat for at least 2 months without purchasing anything except eggs, bread, milk, cheese and produce. It might require some cereal for dinner but we could do it :)
My budget is $125 for 2 adults and 2 tweens. It includes household cleaners and personal care items and we do not have a pet. The pantry items stockpile would last 3-4 months and the personal care items and household items would last 9-12 months.
I spend about $110/week, including household supplies and cat food & litter (1 cat). We’re a family of four (2 adults, 2 dd’s ages 10 and 8). Our current stockpile could probably last a few weeks, but I’d need to get really creative with it! My husband and I pack our lunch every day, and we only eat out a couple times per month, so there’s very little additional food expense.

-I include cleaning products, bathroom products, and starting our diaper stockpile in my budget (of course, I don’t need diapers right now, so I only buy them when I see a really good deal).
-We do have a stockpile that I started about 1-1/2 years ago. I don’t really have a good guess as to how long it would last, but I know I didn’t really buy anything around the holidays (we ate all our holiday meals at my parents), and we didn’t put much of a dent in our stockpile for almost a month.
1.100
2. 4-2 adults and kids 5 & 7
3.yes-everything included-I do not spend much on toiletries and beauty items.
4.yes- we have a stockpile. It would last about six weeks with some interesting meals by the end.

Now if you want to brush your teeth we can do that for the next 10 years or if you want to stay clean and shower we can do that for about 5 years and have deodorant to follow. What is your weekly grocery budget? My weekly grocery budget is $25 per family member, so $125 each week.
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)?Me-29, Hubby-34, Son-5, Daughter-3 and Daughter- 5months
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those? No. $20 a week is the budget for those.
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? Yes, I have a stockpile. It would last about 2 months without buying anything else.
*Grocery Budget – Until recently, our weekly grocery budget was $40 a week. I recently added another $5 a week so that I was able to buy organic milk and free range eggs instead of their cheaper counter parts.
*# of Family Members – There are three people living in our house (ages 38, 37, 11) but almost everyday there is at least one other person that I am feeding. And at times it’s half the kids in the neighborhood! Once a month I feed my entire extended family.
*Are pet supplies, personal care and household products included – No, they are not. I budget $5 a week for personal care items, $15 a week for househould (in this I include toilet paper, cleaners, etc and also anything I need for our garden such as fertilizer and seeds), and $15 a week for pets. That pet food budget is actually quite small considering that we have 3 cats, a rabbit, a hamster, a guinea pig, a lizard and fish. Most of those need fresh veggies everyday!
*Do I have a stockpile – Yes, in both the pantry and freezer and bathroom closets. Between my couponing efforts and large garden (which I freeze and can from) we could “survive” for several weeks on what I have stored. Although we would run out of fresh milk and eggs, and lettuce for ourselves and the critters. But I could manage if I had to. Personal products I could go without shopping for for several months.

–3 people, 2 adults, a 6 year old and two big hungry dogs!
–this includes everything
–Stockpile? oh yes! we could probably eat from it for 6 months. I could clean and do laundry for longer than that. Drugstore stockpile would probably last us a year. (I do “shop” from my stockpile for the beachhouse which is awesome!)
We spend $200.00 a week on groceries. We have five in our family, my husband and I and our 5 kids. This does include everything. I have somewhat of astockpile, but really wish to work on that more this summer!

Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? My stockpile woudl probably last a month or so?? probably not very varied but would last
1. Our monthly budget is $200, so that averages out to about $50 per week.
2. Two adults and 1 baby (7mths).
3. No, I don’t include those. We have a separate budget of $40 per month for “household items.” We use cloth diapers and wipes about 90% of the time, so that cuts down on this expense significantly.
4. I don’t really have a stockpile. I have more of some things than others, but not to last us a super long time.
I’ve been trying to figure out why our budget seems so much higher than everyone else’s, and I think part of it is the tax. Our sales tax is 9.5% here, which means that almost $50 of my monthly $500 budget is going straight into taxes (ouch).
My grocery budget also pretty much includes everything we would buy from a retail store (not just groceries). We have separate budgets for clothes, prescription meds, and entertainment but everything else that doesn’t have a monthly fee comes from the same $500 budget.
What is your weekly grocery budget? $125, but if I had to say grocery only it would be less than $50
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)? 2 adults
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? Yes, we also include several OTC meds, pet food and meds for 3 pets, and all lawn/garden and household items. We have our share of health problems (pets included) and have to get our brands, otherwise we could save much more.
Do you have a stockpile? Yes
How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? food would last at least a month or 2 (just not much variety), and we’d have most health and beauty items covered for 1-2 months. No matter how well I plan there is always something, though!

How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)?

Yes
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce?
Yes, I keep a small stock pile. Could probably last 3-4 weeks.
Weekly Budget- Currently $200 a week, but I am new to couponing, and I am hoping to get that chopped down to about $100 a week as I learn. ( In the past I have gone over budget also, and I definitely want that to stop!)
People in family- 6 people: 2 adults, and 4 kids, ages 13 on down to age 6
Yes, I try to include cleaners, pet food, etc. in my budgeted amount.
Not sure how much of a stockpile I have. I do have some hamburger in the freezer, and I am gradually adding to my freezer and pantry. I would say 2 weeks to a month, if I was careful.
Thanks so much for your posts. I am really enjoying them, and I love Disney!
My parents told me to stick to a budget of $100 per week, which includes food, clothes, and electricity. Because fuel is so pricey, it’s not added. Luckily, this is a very large budget to work with since it’s pretty much only me. I stockpile at the beginning of the quarter, and spend roughly around $100 for the first trip. Every week I have to get fresh bunny food because I have three rabbits, plus fresh veggies for myself, so I spend about $15. I also need to make about two more big grocery trips per quarter, each about $50. Per quarter (about 2.5 months), in total, I spend about $320. That’s about $125 per month on groceries or $31.25 per week on average.
What is your weekly grocery budget? $31.25
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)? Me and three rabbits
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those? Yes, all that is included
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? My stockpile currently would last me for about a month.
While I don’t have a strict set budget, I try to keep it under $50 per week.
There are 3 of us: myself (45), my hubby (48) and my son (22) who is a full time college student and living at home.
I don’t include those items in my budget and I don’t really have a budget for those since we have no pets, don’t need diapers, and only buy cleaners ever few months. I probably spend about $50 every 4 or 5 months. This includes cleaners, laundry detergent(I have a years supply thanks to my son’s great aim at a contest at a baseball game!!), and health and beauty items.
I have a small stock pile, It would maybe last 2 to 3 weeks if I really stretched it. I did have quite a bit more, but we actually ended up using most of it due to a drastic drop in income, and I have not been able to replenish it back to what I would like it to be where I would feel comfortable if something were to happen again.
There are 7 of us: Myself, Husband and our 3 boys, 19, 17 and 16 and two girls 9 and 7.
All is included in the budget: $225.00 week.
Do not have a stockpile.
Just learning coupons…
1) My weekly grocery budget is about $100 a week. It used to be about $300 every two weeks but now with coupons and this website it is a lot less!!!!! :)
2) There are 3 people in my family: me, 25 years; my husband, 25 years; and my stepdaughter, 8 years
3) I usually do include health and beauty items in my budget. I really do not like spending a lot on these items and try to get these when they are on sale and get a little stockpile going for the whole year.
4) I am actually growing my stockpile now. My health and beauty items right now could last me roughly a year probably right now. Food wise, it would probably last about 2 months. I really want a new house with a separate room for my stockpile but I cant afford this right now and probably will not be able to for a long time. :(
Our grocery budget is for every two weeks, and is on average $400.
There is my husband 23, myself 21 + I am nine months pregnant, and our son 11months.
We included all cleaning items, and hygiene items also.
No we don’t have a stock pile, my husband just eats a lot.
I try to coupon, but i haven’t really gotten the hang of it fully yet.
The grocery store we shop at even has the lowest prices on food and we still spend $400 every two weeks, it would probable be double that if we went to walmart, or target.

Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? I have a stockpile. I think it would last us atleast 4 weeks. Being just us, I dont really have a BIG stock pile. I do get alot of “the good items” that I can get free of, and I share with neighbors and family and friends who don’t have the time, or are not able to get out and coupon. <3
1. $150.00
2. 4 people:35, 29, 16, and 2

Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? Non-food stockpile items would last about 6 months. I have been using the food stockpile and just starting to replenish non-stockpile items. Try to keep a couple of months of non-perishables.

Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? I do have a stockpile and we could probably go for about 3 months and only need perishable items and some meat.
Couponing cut our grocery/personal item spending almost in half – it’s helped us out tremendously!! I love this site too – we just got back from a trip to Disney in February.
I buy groceries twice a month and it’s $220 each trip. 2 adults, 2 children. It includes anything that I am buying at that store like groceries, toiletries, formula, cleaning supply, and etc. I do budget in $20 per paycheck for stockpiling.
My WEEKLY grocery budget is around $40-$50 ($150 a month; $200 at a very maximum).
We have 3 people in our family, ages 23, 23, and 3 years old. We include cleaners, health and beauty items into our budget, but only at about 10% of what we spend goes towards that, considering the best deals are on items in those categories. I rarely have to shell out any money AT ALL on haircare, laundry detergent, spray cleaners, or body wash.
We have no pets and my child has been out of diapers for a while.
We live in an apartment, so our stockpile is small, but we DO stock up on important items such as soap, laundry detergent, drinks, and meats. We have enough soaps, oral care, deodorant, shampoo, and razors to last us 2 years and enough laundry and cleaning supplies to last 1 year!
I am a full time student, working on my second degree, so money is very tight. I don’t know what I would do without coupons- We depend on them so much!

Hey, Kristen. My weekly budget is 75.00 per week, but I try to come in under that with coupons and sales. There are three people in my family. I try to take advantage of sales, really good deals, so I may spend more money at the beginning of the month. I spent about 200.00 at the first of the month and very little the last three weeks. It looks like my weekly average will be around 50.00 per week for May. My budget includes paper products, soap and dish detergent. I am focusing on stockpiling, and that is coming along. Right now, I have about a month’s worth of everything. My problem is space, but I have a plan!
I forgot to say the three people in my family are two adults and one very hungry 12 year old girl. No pets right now. :-)

Yes. Diapers, wipes, and pull-ups would last a month or two. Meat & cereal would last 3-4 months. I also have shelf-stable milk alternatives (3 lactose intolerant) to last about a month. I don’t have much stored for canned goods at this time (hubby was just off work for almost 2 weeks – vacation).

We usually spend about $80 per week which i feel really good about because we were at about $135 and I have only been couponing for 3 months. We have 4 people in our family- 2 adults 2 girls 17 and 14 and 3 dogs and that budget includes their food and cleaning supplies. I do have a stockpile, but it is not real big yet so couldn’t last very long. We could brush our teeth and smell good from our deodorant for at least a year tho. Love your site!!!!
What is your weekly grocery budget? $100/week
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)? 2 adults, 1 child (1 year old)
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those? No, our family uses the “envelope system” so the budget for these items are all separate. Whatever is left over just rolls over to the next month. Once there is an abundance in a certain category, it gets moved to our “Walt Disney World Fund”! Awesome way to save! Our budget for health and beauty is $50/month, baby is $75/month and pet is $75/month.
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce?
We just started couponing within the last few months so we don’t have much of a stockpile, but are working diligently towards it! Our current budget was made before coupling, so I am working on finding out how much extra we have after a couple of months to plana trip to see Mickey!!! :)
My weekly budget: Approximately $25.00
Those in my household: 3; My husband (37 years old), Myself (40 years old) and our Baby (6 years old).
I do include pets etc. in our budget.
No, I do not have a stockpile. We don’t last for two weeks on what we have.
My weekly budget is $25.00 a week.
There are just 2 of us,Me 49 and my boyfriend 48.
I do include cleaning supplies in my budget, just have to be sure and get the most out of your coupons when you use them.
I was just getting started on trying to start a stockpile when we totally lost my income,so no I don’t have a stockpile and we are struggling to pay the bills is why I have a $25.00 a week budget to work with.
This would be such a blessing if I were to receive a envelope full of coupons to help me to get thru another week, but I’m sure there are plenty of others who are in need of them to.Thank you for at least giving us all a chance to win something as valuable as money saving coupons!
What is your weekly grocery budget? $80/wk
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)? 2 adults (28 & 35), and a 6 year old boy.
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those? No, those are budgeted as needed. During the summer I stockpile on cleaners, health, ad beauty items for the rest of the year.
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? I have a stockpile of non-perishables to last about a month or two. We would probably need meat, milk, eggs, and produce. I make my own bread and have stockpiled the supplies for that.
What is your weekly grocery budget?
Our budget is $200 over TWO weeks (hubby is paid bi-weekly), so $100/week but I usually only spend $50ish/week because once a month I go to Costco and about $150-200 gets spent in that trip.
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)?
5 people- 2 adults, a 5 year old, a 3 year old, and a 14 month old who eats more than his sisters combined. ;)
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those?
Health a beauty, yes, because we rarely need to purchase from those categories. Cleaners and such are in our house budget, which is $75/week but mostly for household improvements (we’re in a fixer-upper and it’s how we pay rent). I only buy diapers once in a blue moon since we use cloth.
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce?
I guess you could say we have a stockpile. We have a small pantry area, plus an emergency food supply…we have figured we could last at least few months on those (that’s with purchasing those things you mentioned). But our goal is 6 months minimum…though we only want our stockpile to be freshly canned or dehydrated foods, not a lot of boxed stuff.
Oh but as for stockpiled “personal & body” products, I mostly do homemade stuff and could likely go at least a year with what I have for that (deodorants, shampoos, female products, etc).
Oh, and I forgot to clarify that our $100/week ALSO has to include my husband eating out for nearly every meal while he’s at work (he’s an EMT so doesn’t get to rely on “homemade” meals), so that can eat up our budget really quickly on his busy weeks.
1.) Our current grocery budget is $100 per week. I SO want and need this to go down!
2.) We are feeding 2 adults, a 6yo, 5yo and 10month old.
3.) Yes, the $100 per week includes dog/treats for 1 dog, diapers/wipes/etc for the baby and all health/beauty products.
4.) Most definitely I have a stockpile and I definitely think we could last anywhere from 2-4 months food wise, and 6+ months for laundry soap/shampoo/etc.
$550 a month for family of 5, but I buy 1/2cow and a whole butchered pig once a year. I’m probably the odd man here, but I’m proud that I get what I do without preservatives, additives and getting local goodies. We never eat out so I can keep our total bill low. This also includes expensive probiotics, cod liver oil and a few other natural supplements that we use to lower cholesterol instead of taking prescription drugs. The payoff for me is children that rarely if ever get sick and feeling good and healthy all of the time. I had to give up some luxury items to do what we do foodwise, but it’s paid off :)

I have a monthly grocery budget that is $550.00. This is almost $140 a week, but this also includes formula and baby food.

We have 3 people in our family- myself (22), my husband (23), and our son (6 months).
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those?
We don’t have pets, so we don’t have to worry about that. We don’t include cleaners or other items in this budget, but I limit these items (not including diapers) to $5 a month. My budget for diapers is simply to get them on sale at Walgreens whenever possible, which is usually about $20-25 a month.
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce?
We have a stockpile including a pantry and chest freezer, which is awesome for living in an apartment! It would last us probably 4-5 months, as long as I wasn’t counting baby food or formula. Those items would only last us about 2-3 months.
I never thought that we spent as much as we do, and this includes coupons and cooking most things from scratch! It makes me want to limit my purchases more, but since I live in the UP and its quite expensive for food, I don’t consider it overly unreasonable. My goal is to put the money I spend on baby food towards a baby food processor, but I don’t know what to get! Any ideas?
Oh, and we buy toilet paper and other paper goods from my husband’s aunt who works in a paper factory, so we have enough paper goods to last us about 2 years. Other toiletries (minus diapers and meds) would last us about 1 year. Diapers right now might not last until tomorrow! ;)

My world fell apart Sept 1, 2010. I was 5 months of being jobless and technically homeless living with friends. I applied to 180 jobs before I got the one that I’m at now. I lived off my old small stockpile during that time and made do. I’m rebuilding: financially and my stock pile.

Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? Not much of a stockpile but we could probably last 3-4 weeks if we weren’t too picky.
1)Our weekly budget is $25 a week. 2)There are only two of us in our 30s and with the couponing we manage quite nicely. 3)We squeeze our pet supplies in there too. 4)We have a stockpile that would last us about a month. We try to eat vegetarian 3 days a week to help save money too. Its fun to experiment with veggie recipes. That helps our $25 budget even more!

Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce?
I just started couponing about 3 months ago so my stockpile is not that big, I could go 2wks maybe….
We spend about $60-75/week. $75 is VERY top end and VERY rare that we spend that much.
We have six of us–two adults, four kids ages 9, 7, 4, & 3. Three of the kids are in Pull-Ups at night.
Yes, I include cleaners, Pull-Ups and cosmetics in that budget.
Yes, I have a stockpile. I teach in my classes that shopping in the 12 week model is the best way to go. Refusing to pay full price for anything starts when we stock up at sales prices. Without that, you’re blowing your budget weekly when you’re having to run out again and again for something.
During the summer months when I have no income from teaching preschool, yet we still have our two house payments (double payments for almost 3 years now on 1 full-time income), we eat down our stockpile to keep out-of-pocket expenses very light. We could eat six months, easy, on what’s stockpiled.

Hi everyone.
My weekly budget is $150 for my family of six. There is my husband, myself, an adult female family friend, my 12-year-old stepson, my 2-year-old son and my 9-month-old son. This $150 includes groceries, diapers, formula, health and beauty items, laundry and cleaning items, etc.
I have been extreme couponing for about six weeks now and I have a small stockpile of food that I am currently working on building. What I am most proud of is my HBA stockpile. I am so pround of what I was able to accomplish here :) I seriously don’t need to go to the drugstore for a year or two.
As an added note, I feel truly blessed to have built such a HBA stockpile so quickly. Therefore, Paul at http://www.iheartthemart.com is creating a post as to how to pack up a $5 flat rate shipping box to send some of these items to the tornado victims in MO which his family will personally deliver Father’s Day weekend. These people have lost everything. Anything you send will be greatly appreciated. If anyone has an overflow of items in their stockpile, please check out his site for information.
Thank you
My grocery budget is $200 a month or $50 a week. That is for four people, ages 33, 28, and my two kids, ages 6 and 2. We have a cheap, surplus store about 30 minutes away that I visit once a month. This store does not accept coupons, and I try to stick to about $75 a month there, mainly on meats they get directly from a local meat company at half the price. The other $125 a month is split over the four weeks to coupon at Publix, Bilo, and CVS. It includes toiletries, pet products for our dog, and diapers for our son. We could probably live off our stockpile for 4-6 weeks, because I usually only have 3-4 coupons on each item I buy.
What is your weekly grocery budget?
Mine has been a challenge because my husband owns his own business and a company had not paid him for four months. . .so our budget is $40 a week.
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)?
We have 4 people in our family. 2 adults and 2 kids (3 and 1 )
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those? No pets. Diapers for the one year old and health and beauty items.
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce?
About a week to two weeks. We lived off of the stockpile for about 3 weeks to 4 weeks before.
What is your weekly grocery budget? $50
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)? 2 adults, 2 children- ages 12 and 9, plus a cat
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? Yes. I get most of these things for free or super cheap at CVS and Walgreens.
Do you have a stockpile? A small one. It’s mostly cereals, mixes, a few canned goods, and a few frozen foods. I don’t store food outside the pantry and I don’t want it to take over a bedroom! The garage is not a good place to store things here in Texas, except maybe canned goods. I do have lots of cleaners and health and beauty items stockpiled, though.
How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? Maybe a month.
What is your weekly grocery budget? $60-$70 a week
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)?
1.) 2 adults, and 2 children. 6yrs and 10yrs.
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget?
2.) Yes
Do you have a stockpile?
3.) Not yet, I just started couponing in April of 2011
How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? right now 2 weeks at the most.
What is your weekly grocery budget?
We’d like to keep it under 75.00 but usually its more like 100.00.
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)?
Two adults (and I’m pregnant) and a 2 year old boy.
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those?
Yup, its all included.
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce?
We do have a stockpile. We’d run out of meat pretty quickly (within a week or two) since we have quite a small freezer, but everything else would probably last about a month.
$50
4: myself and my hubby, a 2 year old and a 3 month old
This includes EVERYTHING.
Yes. So far my non-food stockpile has lasted us a little over a year (my hubby has been unemployed for 13 months). The only things I’m out of are diapers, detergent and toilet paper. I’m low on a few things, but am trying to wait until he finds a job to start stocking back up. Food wise, we were great until we lost power for 9 days due to the tornados here in the Huntsville area. My non-perishibles will last a long time, but my stockpile took a major hit when I had to throw everything in my fridge and freezers away.
I spend around $100 a week for a family of 5-2 adults, 3 boys-ages 11,8,1
and I dont really include diapers and household products in that total.
I have a few extras becuase I like to buy in bulk, but nothing I wouls call a “stockpile”
Our weekly budget is 75.00.. just start to couponing..
2 adults and 2 boys Boys 14 and 15. foster parents .
budget for non food is 25.00 a week.
yes, I have been stock piling.. right now at least 3 months.
I spend about $50.00 a week now that I use coupons :0)
I shop for myself, husband, 21 year old daughter, 15 year old daughter and 6 year old son.
I include grocery, household goods, health & beauty, and cleaning supplies in my budget.
I have been stock piling for about 4 months now and I think we could make it about 6 months on what I have thus far.
Couponing has open my eyes to the savings out there if you put forth the effort. I went from spending $600.00 a month on just food to spending $200.00 a month on everything for my household. I win EVERYTIME :0)
*What is your weekly grocery budget? Our situation is a little odd right now, as my husband is working in a different area of the state and is only home on weekends. I spend about $120 for the 5 of us here at home and he spends about $40 for the week. So we will say $160 total for the week.
*How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)? There are 2 adults and 4 children (ages 12, 10, 8, and 6).
*Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those? yes, all of these are included.
*Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? We have just recently started stockpiling household items, but have not really started stockpiling the foods. We’ll get there eventually!
1) $100
2) 5 people ages 34, 32, 9, 6 and 2
3) yes
4) I have a small stockpile which would last us about 2 or 3 weeks.
My budget is $250 a month.
My family is 2 adults and 3 children-22, 14 and 14. 3 dogs and 1 cat.
I do include pets and all cleaning and health and beauty products in my budget.
I have a stockpile that would last approximately 1-1 and 1/2 months with only purchases for milk, bread and eggs.
What is your weekly grocery budget? I try to stick close to $60, but do allow myself to go over in order to stock up or when trying to reach the $25 requirement to get $10 off a $50 gas card at Publix. (I usually buy 2 or 3 when they run that special.)
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)? Two adults, two children, 6 and 4, and one on the way.
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? Yes, although adding diapers back in is fairly new and i havent found enough good deals to really start stocking up.
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you
didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? I have a pretty nice stockpile, and could go at least two months without shopping except for perishables.
What is your weekly grocery budget? Our budget is for around 100 to 150 per week
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)? 3 adults 5 kids (12, 10, 7,6, 6)
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those? Yes
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? On my laundry soap, toiletries, and prsonal items we do, but for food we don’t as of yet, I haven’t been couponin that long so I’m still learing :-)
What is your weekly grocery budget? $150
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)? 2 adults, one 3 year old and one baby on the way SOON
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those? yes
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? some items, mostly beauty and frozen goods. i just lack the room to do others!
Sorry forgot ages 2 adults 28 and 29 and one child 3yrs :)
1) 70
2) 4 people total. Two adults, one 8 yr old and a 4 year old.
3) Yes. Cleaning and beauty things are included.
4) Yes I have a stockpile.
5) It would probably last me a month.
Not sure I should admit this, but I don’t have a “budget” for groceries. It is just two of us now and I spend around $100-$125 a week for everything we need(although occasionally, I will stock up on meat for our freezer and I am not including this), but am including paper products and specialty foods. I love to cook!
I do have a big stockpile of groceries, paper products and even shampoos and other personal care items. Shoot with all the great deals from the past year, I am set on personal items for over a year…maybe two. Paper products as stockpiled and I probably have almost a year of that too. In my pantry, I have enough foods other than fresh items to last months…probably 6 mos or more! Got that from my days of cooking for three hungry kids every day, plus half their friends!
We do not have any pets, but I save all those coupons for my daughters and their families. THey have pets and small children/infants!!!!!
I use coupons whenever I can. I usually buy my favorites but will buy other brands when there are deals! And…if I get too much of any item with a deal, I donate it to our local food pantry. I have a friend who works there and she makes it easy for my neighborhood to contribute by picking up foods on her way in. And I have a deployed Son-in-law and try to pick up deals and donate them to an organization here that makes packages and send them to our soldiers from the area.
And I would love to win the coupon packs…..and would share what I don’t use!
What is your weekly grocery budget?
$50, it use to be more but my unemployment just ran out so I’m working on keeping it lower so I can stretch the money further
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)?
2 Adults 28 & 34
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those?
No, I budget about $20/week for that. We have 2 cats, but I recently got about 4 months of food for them for $8 with coupons so that helps a little!
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce?
I have just started a “stockpile” but have always had a small stock. If you counted the food in my freezer (meat and veggies) and took out milk, and fresh produce (we’re a bread free house!) we’d be ok for 3-4 months! Health and Beauty and cleaning products we’re good for around 9 months already! And I’ve only been doing this a month now!
What is your weekly budget?
About $100 every two weeks.
How many people in your family?
There are 2 adults (38, 37) and 1 three-year old.
Do you include diapers, etc in your budget?
Yes and no. If I’m getting HBA items at the grocery store (my store doubles coupons), then they are included in my budget. Diapers I get at Rite Aid with my UP rewards so I don’t pay for them. :)
Do you have a stockpile?
Yes I do! I can go months on HBA products. As far as food goes, I have enough food in the freezer to last a few months. I have enough summer grilling items such as marinades, sauces, condiments for the whole summer! :)
Our weekly budget is $60-70. We have 2 adults and one child a dog, cat, a rat, a 30 gal aguarium and a 70 gal aquarium both full of tropical fish and another aquarium with 2 toads (we love animals LOL) i say all this because it leads into the next question :) YES my budget covers everything it is a total of all essentials from food to diapers to pet supplies and food. I have a small stockpile since we live in an apartment and have limited space and a baby on the way which is gonna make the space even smaller. We could live off our stockpile for 3 weeks. My goal once we move is to get our stockpile built up to last 3 months. :)
1. i’m a terrible budgeter. i’m new to all this so i’m trying.
2. 5 people. 2 adults and 5 yr 2 yr and 8 month old
3. no, i get them as i need them but i am starting to watch the deals.
4. very small stock pile. we could maybe do a month.

What is your weekly grocery budget? I try to stay at about 100-125
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)? 2 adults, 3 kids 10, 7, 6
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those? Yes and no, It depends on the sales at the store, some weeks yes and some weeks no.
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? I no longer have a stockpile because we have been using it up the past 5-6 weeks.
*Our weekly budget is about $60, though I tend to go every 2 weeks, so yeah, $60
*We usually have 4 people in our family at any given time unless the older kids are home from college/work, so 4 adults (42, 40, 21, 19) and 2 kids (11 and 6)
*I have to include cleaner and pet food into the budget (3 dogs, lots of cleaning!!!) which is killing my budget but we’re fostering 2 of the mastiffs (they eat A LOT!!!)
*I can usually get away with some items for up to 2 weeks, but most items I keep a 3 month stockpile. I used to do a larger stockpile, but we’re running out of room and with 2 usually not home, we don’t need as much as we did a year ago.
What is your weekly grocery budget?
i personally have no money at the moment for groceries…
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)?

Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? Yes, I have a stockpile. I have no idea how long it would last. If we were content eating pasta with red sauce I could probably last for a couple months on that alone. :) My biggest problem is my 4 kids use things about as fast as I can buy them even when I stock up.
There are 3 of us living in my home, myself, my husband, and our 8 yr old daughter. I also have a 19 yr old who lives on her own. Our grocery budget is approx $50 per week most of which is held over from week to week until the sales are right. I live within 2 miles of several major supermarkets so going to each one of them isn’t a problem to get the best deals. We do have a cat and he is included in the grocery budget as well as drug store items. I spend approx $8 a week on newspapers(for the coupons of course!) I have a nice little stockpile, the toiletries could get us through about 6 or 7 months. As far as groceries we have enough meat, side dishes, canned veg, and snacks to get through probably 4 – 6 weeks, we don’t have a lot of space for storage not to mention you don’t save anything if it spoils.

I dont have much of a stash yet but I already see the savings piling up and with the twins (twice the cost of everything!) I love seeing any savings!

I started couponing about 2 months ago…so before that my weekly grocery budget for two people and one cat fell somewhere between $80.00 and $130.00. Now with the couponing my weekly budget falls between $30.00 and $50.00.
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)?
2 adults, ages 35 and 41.
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those?
I do include pet, cleaners and health and beauty in the main budget.
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce?
I do already have a stockpile growing, with cereals, soaps, shampoos and laundry detergent being main things that i have plenty of. I still wouldn’t last long because I dont have a lot of food products stock piled just yet…but I can only imagine what my stockpile will look like a year from now! Couponing has saved my little family! I can’t believe I didn’t start earlier.
1. My budget is around $75 a week.
2. We have 4 in our family 3 adults (my father-in-law lives with us) and a 12 year old child.
3. This includes cleaning supplies, not health, we have a flexible speeding account for that.
4. I jabs a very small stockpile that only lasts about 2 weeks, I live in Florida and due to bugs, I cannot keep good in the garage, so I am limited to my pantry.
What is your weekly grocery budget?
As of right now it’s $100 a week. I just started couponing and learning all that I can before taking it on the first of the month. I’m hoping after a month or so I can lower my budget to about $50 a week. *crosses fingers*
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)?
As of right now there are 3 of us, another will be joining us in September! My fiance and I are both 28, our daughter is 20 months (today actually) and our son is due September 20th!
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those?
No, my budjet is strictly for food. We only buy the other items when we absolutely need them, or we borrow them from family members who live close. If we had a budget for those items that we could afford, maybe $100 a month?
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce?
We do not have a stockpile as of yet, hopefully that will be different this time next month.
our budget is around $300/mo but i am working on lowering that with using coupons, which i am new to using! this is for a family of 3 +a cat and this includes pet food, litter and personal products

How long would it last – only a week. I have just started to stockpile food items.

2 adults and 2 children (ages 4 and 2)
We don’t include pet food, cleaners or diapers in that budget. We buy all of those items at BJ’s and we keep a separate BJ’s budget for them ($100/month).
Working on a stock pile now. We are paying off debt, so our budget is tight. Not a lot of wiggle room to stock up on things, though I know it’s cheaper to buy them when they are on sale. Our biggest priority is the debt. Our stock pile is mostly of paper goods (PT, TP, etc), canned food and salad dressing so far. Probably 2 months or so on those items.

Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce?
Our weekly grocery budget is about $90-$100 a week. We recently started couponing and are in the process of trying to build a new home, so we’re trying to set stricter limits for ourselves, and would like to be able to drop it to $50-$60 a week! We are a family of four (28, 20, 22-months, and 7-months.. plus our cat, Sophie!). Our weekly budget does include diapers, formula, cat food, litter, and personal hygeine items. We are slowly starting a stockpile (as we come across good deals!) and right now could last about 3 weeks, if we played our cards right! Hopefully, though, we’ll be able to catch on to this whole “couponing” thing quickly!
We budget about 400 a month and the includes cleaners diapers and such. We have 5 in our family 28, 27, 4, 3, 2
Weekly Grocery Budget – $75
There are 4 people (2 Adults and 2 Children aged 7 and 6) in my home
My budget includes all household cleaning, health and beauty items.
We do have a stock pile and would be able to sustain ourselves for probably 2 months – with the exception of toilet paper which would last about 6 months! LOL
What is your weekly grocery budget? $60
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)? 5 people: 2 adults, 3 kids ages 10, 8, 1
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those? No, I budget $30 a month for 1 dog, 2 cats. I also budget diapers and health/beauty at $40 a month. Once we are out of diapers, that will go down. I also have a child with asthma, so the meds are in there.
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? I have a small stockpile. We do not have a lot of room for storage, so I do what I can. I refuse to install shelves in my bedrooms and living room for a stockpile. I think we could last a good month to 6 weeks on it.
My monthy grocery budget is $400 (so $100 a week) for a family of 2 adults, 1 toddler son – age 2. I include diapers, hygiene products and generally any consummables in this budget. I have a stockpile that I think would last me for at least 6-8 weeks if I had to eat only from it. We just went through a period where I only went to the grocery for bread, milk, and produce and lasted 5 weeks (we periodically do this to clear out some older items in the stockpile.)
What is your weekly grocery budget?
$110 a week
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)?
4 total- 3 adults and one little girl (5)
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those?
Yes!
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce?
Yes, I do have a stockpile. I am running a little low on meat right now, so including meat, I think my stockpile would last about 6 weeks. Not including meat, I have about 3 months worth of food items. For all other items, such as cleaning supplies and toiletries, I have a good year’s worth.
1.) $100
2.) 7 (2 adults, 4 daughters ages 15, 12, 11, 10
And a son who is 4.)
3.) Yes included in budget and we do have pets.
4.) This time of year probably a month on food items.
We deer hunt so we use a lot of deer meat, but it

I used to spend about $50 every week in stuffs like milk, cereal, bread, meat, veggies, fruit, etc. In addition, I used to spent about $50 in cleaners, and health and beauty items. All those things are just for myself, given that I live alone. At the moment, I’m trying to store as much as possible, but don’t have a lot yet becuase I moved in recently in the USA (in February). After some advises I got from a good friend, I’m lowering the amount I spend in groceries thanks to coupons. I hope I’ll have a stockpile for at least 6 months soon!

I have a small stockpile that would last us about two months.
1. $50.00
2. 2 – Adults and 1-Child
3. Yes
4. Yes but mostly non-edible items.
My food stock pile isn’t very big at all. I’m still trying to get better at that. What I

My budget is 100 a week.
It is one adult and one teenage girl.
We do not have pets. I budget 25 a week for other things like contact solution and makeup.
I do some stock piling. I have around 2 months of groceries.
I don’t have a budget for groceries. But I estimate we spend about $200 a month on groceries. There are 2 adults and 3 kids all under 8 years. I wouldn’t include those specific items in my grocery total. My stockpile would probably last my family about 3 weeks.

How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)? 2 adults a three year old and a one year old.
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those? I buy everything out of my 100 dollars and I can split it however I see fit.
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? I have a giant stockpile for diapers and health and beauty items. We could last at least a year or more on. I have trouble saving on groceries and therefore cannot stockpile and if I do get several items stashed away I seem to use it up quickly.
My weekly budget is $150.
2 Adults, and 4 year old twins.
Yes, the $150 includes everything now that I’ve gotten serious about coupons.
I have a very small stockpile of cleaners and toiletries. No food stockpiles, though.
We are paid twice a month so I don’t buy groceries weekly. My budget is 200 per trip. But it is normally about 80 less since I started couponing. There are three of us in our house Myself, My husband and my one year old.My budget does include his foods but not toiletries and diapers. I buy diapers at Target when they offer a gift card for two boxes. I buy two boxes for around 35 and I use two coupons to get at least 5 dollars taken off of that. As for cleaners and other products I normall spend 50. I do not have a stockpile but I have a full pantry that would last me for a month if I only purchased milk, bread, meat and produce.
**We don’t have a formal budget, but we seem to average about $50 per week.
**2 adults, 1 kiddo (3 years old)
**Since we do most of our shopping at Wal-Mart, we do pick up cleaners and health & beauty whenever we do our grocery shopping.
**We don’t have a stockpile (more like an “Oops, we bought ketchup again” pile), so we’d probably only last about a week and it would involve a lot of cereal…
1. Our grocery budget is $400/month, or $100 a week. I carryover money month to month, but this is an average.
2. We have three people- myself, husband and our three year old son. I also have a dog and a cat.
3. Yes, all of those things are included in my grocery budget. It isn’t fair that we can’t use our health spending acct for OTC meds anymore. That saved us.
4. I do have a small stockpile- I’m just starting out on couponing. I have several sticks of deodorant and plenty of toilet bowl cleaner, but my family could probably only live for a few weeks on what I have in food, which is mostly pastas. Again, I’m new to all of this :)
What is your weekly grocery budget? 75-80 a week depends on what formula coupons I can find.
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)? 4.5 in all this includes myself (27), my husband (30) my daughter (7), my son (3 monthes) and the tanner’s (dog almost 2 so almost 14)

Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? No
If not, what is your budget for those? $40 a month – Anything not spent in this budget goes to the next month, since some months we spend more, like when we stock on diapers, wipes, formula, TP, etc.
Do you have a stockpile? Sort of…
How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? We would need more than just those items, but what we are stocked on would last about 2 months maybe.
We budget $70 a week, but I rarely spend that much, unless I have skipped grocery shopping the week before. I usually spend between $40-$60 a week. There are two adults and two children ( 21 months and 3 1/2) and two cats in our family. Our grocery budget (I shop at Publix) includes beauty products and pet supplies but not diapers, which I buy at Target with stacked coupons (I spend maybe $10-$15 a month on diapers and wipes.) I do have a small stockpile (compared to the Extreme Couponers) that would probably last us 3-4 weeks, except for produce and bread. Right now, I only have enough meat to last about two weeks (we need to buy a freezer for our garage before I can stockpile more meat).
well thanks to strict ways of kroger here we can only use one coupon in other wards we can not use our kroger card downloads and manufacture coupons on same item. but usally I try to stay at 50.00 just for food we already have stock pile of other things .there are 5 of us here no pets.and I shop publix and walgreens and target my favorite stores.the children here range in age of 18 and 22 years

How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)? 2 adults, 2 kids 7&2
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? If not, what is your budget for those? No, I don’t have a specific budget for those things
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? I do not have a big food stockpile, but I try to buy as much TP, Light bulbs, and other non perishable household items when they go on sale or I can get them for free
Our budget is about $100 per week.
We have 4 people. 2 adults and 2 kids, 12 & 4. We also have 2 dogs.
Yes, our budget includes everything from food to cleaning supplies to hygiene.
I just started couponing at The beginning of May, so we really don’t have a ‘stock Pike’s yet. So I’d have to say it wouldn’t last too long right now. :-( But I’m slowly trying to build it up.
**stock pile**
What is your weekly grocery budget? $75
How many people are in your family (adults, children and their ages)? 2 adults and 3 children (ages 9, 7, and 5)
Do you include pet, cleaners, diapers and health and beauty items in your budget? Yes
Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? 2 months
That is a difficult question for me to answer. I don’t really have a specific amount that I absolutely don’t go over every week. I am in Arkansas and only have a few stores that double coupons and none that triple. If I had to guess I would say that I spend with coupons $100.00 a week on food, toiletries, household items etc.
I didn’t mean to hit reply :) That is for a family of 5 and that does include pet supplies. We have a freezer and other than that the only stockpile that I currently have would be shaving items such as razors, shaving cream etc. I also have a small stock pile of shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
My weekly budget is $100 right now as I am preparing for a new baby in August. Currently there is just my husband and myself, but it feels like 10 since he is repsonsible for dinner at the firehouse every fourth shift. I do include cat items, beauty products and now baby items in the budget. Since I just really started trying to stockpile, I would have to answer no to having a designated stockpile at this time. I have a shelf in the laundry room with body washes, razors and shaving cream only right now. The answer to how long could I go only purchasing milk, bread and fresh produce is actually about a month.
weekly budget is $125 and includes everything for 2 adults, 2 kids (11 year old boy and 7 year old girl, both human tapeworms)and 2 dogs.
our stockpile is rather small for us since we just moved from north carolina to arizona but it is starting to grow out of the cabinets again! if i was toexcuse myself from grocery shopping for a few weeks minus fresh foods we would survive on tyson chicken nuggets with an array of sauces, loads of ore ida fries and such, eggo waffles, enough wine for a few weeks since they offer coupons for alcohol in az, and plenty of bottled water and drinks. i would love a ton of coupons because i really lost out on some great stockpile shopping due to the cross country move
1. 50-75/ week… It’s $250/ month
2. 5, will be 6 in about 18 weeks ages: 32, 28, 4, almost 3, 15 mos
3. Yes all of those things included
4. Right now about 4 weeks as we’ve been using a lot of the stockpile the past 2 months.
My current budget is $600 a month. I’m trying to work that down, and when I started, it was significantly higher.
That is for 2 adults, and 3 kids (7, 4, and 4). I include cleaners, HBA, except for my make-up and stuff which I put in it’s own category.
I have a small stockpile, but only enough until I think it’s going on sale again, so probably one month on most things, but if there is a really good sale, I will go above that. I have shampoo and conditioner for probably 6 months because the sale was so good last time.
What is your weekly grocery budget? $200.00

Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce?
I do :) I think we would be fine for about 3-6 months depending on how careful we are with the food. other items like shampoo and toothpaste laundry soap we could go 2 years at least. we have a lot of food I can my self I usually get the fruit or veggies free from neighbors and family and have lots of jars so that would help us a lot as well.
oh and budget is $350 a month for all 5 of us. :D

If not, what is your budget for those?
Do you have a stockpile?I keep a variety of stock. I hate to run out of items. Plus with a husband that has a seasonal job it is either feast or famine so I try to have enough to last during the slow time.
How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? We could probably last for a month but that is if the fridge and freezer don’t break down!!!
my budget is set at 65.00 a week and I u\ try to stick with that. anything over I save it for the next week and then eventually I will use it for a stock pile if something is on sale.
we have 2 adults abd 2 children.
I use a seperate budget for my animals only.
which is 100.00 a month.
I do have a stockpile and and I think we could last 2-4 months on it. I also can alot in the summer to help out. at the price of groceries we have to cut corners and do all we can to save, i do alot of coupon clipping and sign up for freebies whenever they are posted. Which i say thank you.

I do have a stockpile, it’s mostly for body wash etc. We could go a full year without having to buy body wash, deodorant, razors, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, hand soap, dish washing liquid, dish washer tabs, etc. We can go about 6 months without buying laundry detergent. Pet food I am about to stock up to 6 months, cat litter I’ll also stock to 6 months.
I try to spend under $150 every two weeks (on pay weeks) and on the non-pay weeks then I try to spend less than $20. We have 2 adults and 3 children (11, 8, 6). I pack most of their lunches too.
Sometimes I do get the pet, health and beauty stuff. I try to make it all fit into that budget but if not then I try to spend less than $20 additional a month on those items.
We buy a lot of produce, and I drink almond milk so we have added expenses there. But staying within the grocery budget for us doesn’t mean that we’re going to buy just anything.
We do have some stockpile (for instance, Kroger had a great deal on Mom’s Natural cereal recently) but it’s hard to stockpile with the budget. Without bread and fresh produce and milk, we could probably stretch our current food selections to the end of June.
I dont have a strict budget I stick to, but it is usually pretty cheap…lol. On average I’d guess around $30/week. We have 4 in our family and another on the way in October (me, hubby, 4year old, 8 month old). I include everything in my budget, although there are weeks when we may have to spend more on certain things we have to get. I have a small stockpile, but it probably wouldnt last too long without shopping again…maybe 2 weeks. It’s way to hard to get out and shop for the stockpile with 2 small kids so I just do what I can do.

Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? I DO NOT have a stockpile! I can not seem to figure out the major sales and be able to stockpile within my budget. I wish I had a stockpile that would last 3-6 months in case of an emergency.

Do you have a stockpile? How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce? yes, about 6 months. My local grocer has a meat sale every 4 months so I stock up on meat then. Saves so much time & money. Love my food saver & deep freezer!
Budget is about $150 per week.

No pets
Budget includes cleaning products, health and beauty products.
No diapers but I do have a son with special needs (who wears diapers but I don’t pay for them) and he has a special diet.
I don’t stockpile too much. I do stock up on laundry soap, toothpaste, deodorant, kleenex, hand soap, pasta and a few other things. That’s simply because the coupons and sales are good and a lot is free or close to it. No more than a month’s supply I would say.
My weekly grocery budget for my 5 member family is around $70 per week, which includes cleaning supplies, health & beauty products, etc. I have a small stockpile of frozen food and canned/boxed items which I believe would last us about a month or so.

Do you have a stockpile? I do not have a grocery stockpile at the moment. I did have one about a month ago and we still have a few cans of spaghetti sauce left. I do definitely have a non-grocery stockpile though. I haven’t been couponing that long and have already accumulated about 10 tubes of toothpaste, 10 toothbrushes, 18 bars of soap, about 20 razors, and about 10 sticks of deodorant. How long do you think it would last you if you didn’t buy any groceries except for milk, bread and fresh produce?
Our weekly budget is $160- including dining out. We have 2 adults, 4 children (1, 3, 5 and 8 years old) and a dog.
I try to include as much household as I can with that- but for the most part it’s just food. I have about another $25 a week for household. Trying to cut that down.
I could go without even buying milk and bread (just produce needed) for about a year if I got into my long-term food storage items- beans, rice, milk and making my own bread out of wheat.
We budget $125 every pay period which is twice a month and there are four of us in our family (30, 29, 4, 18 months). I do include diapers, cleaning products, and any sort of health and beauty products we might need. We do not keep much of a stockpile, usually just some extra cans of veggies, noodles, and can tomatoes so we would not last much further than our normal grocery shopping.

That includes everything, i.e. food, shampoo, razors, shaving cream, meds, etc. I do have a stockpile of a few items, but not a lot. Now that I’m a single mom on a much smaller income, I’ve had to get my weekly budget down to about $40-50 a week. That’s with trying to coupon. It’s a learning process.
