I love seeing you all reach you goals! It is so satisfying for me to see that happen. Don’t forget when doing your travel budgets to account for the savings from normal weekly expenses such gas and groceries. I always add those amounts into my travel budget. If not the money has a way of disappearing at least that is what happens in my house!

I can’t believe we are going on first weekend trip to Six Flags next week! Time fly’s when you are busy. My Swagbucks earnings really picked up the last week of the month. I had a few spin and wheel wins from the Swago game that earned me double on a survey or search and win. I also turned in the full board for 500 SB. I earned 789 SB from buying discounted gift cards on MyGiftCardsplus. I did a few surveys. My meter bonus for last month was 1,200 SB! I did a few of the Revenue Universe offers that where double for a few days last month. Scrubbing Bubble and the Pledge offers from last month finally credited this week. That gave me 1,650 SB!
I have exceeded my earnings needed for this trip by $137.98! My husband has agreed for us to take another trip to the Six Flags in Arlington. We like to travel before the Texas summer really sets in. My kids get out of school May 24th and we will be traveling to Arlington Six Flags May 28th. We choose this day as our travel day to avoid the Memorial day rush. Our plan is to spend May 29th and May 30th at Six Flags. then drive home on the 31st. We will probably do something on the way home or stay and extra day. I am not sure what that will be yet. The kids save all their birthday money and Christmas money to use while on vacation. I also usually throw unexpected money in the bucket as well. Since most of it has come from their savings. We are going to let them choose what extra thing they would like to do.
We agreed to pay out of pocket for the hotel, and we have purchased passes as well for the year. I think the gas savings for 2 weeks from not having to drive the kids around to school and activities. Will cover or come close to covering the additional cost of gas. I live in rural area and use about $80.00 a week during the school year. Since it is such short notice. We decided I would only have to earn $300.00 to go towards the cost of food. Secretly I am hoping to earn more! I need to earn another $162.02 by May 29th to cover the food on that trip.
