Each year the Disney Parks do the Christmas holidays big! If you have never been during the Christmas season I highly suggest it as the decorations are beautiful and the festivities are incredible.
One of the joyous Christmas events is the Candlelight Processional over at Epcot on select nights. This event is included with your park admission and is absolutely beautiful. Each night during this special event Epcot hosts a celebrity narrator, a mass choir and a 50-piece orchestra to retell the biblical tale of Christmas. The celebrity narrators change each year but my family has enjoyed Gary Sinise and Ashley Judd during our visits.
As to be expected this is a very popular special even and because the Candlelight Processional is open seating seating fills up fast. So if you want to secure you a seat without having to wait for several hours to get a seat then you should book a Candlelight Dining Package on these select nights from the end of November through the end of December each year.
Indulge in a delightful holiday meal at some of your favorite Epcot dining locations and then enjoy guaranteed priority seating at one of that nights Candlelight Processionals. These dining packages are available for breakfast, lunch and dinner and depending on your selected location includes either a 3-course meal or a full buffet.
Your family can enjoy a filling meal at locations around World Showcase, on the Disney Boardwalk or at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. These locations as of 2016 include Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, Biergarten Restaurant, Captain’s Grille, Chefs de France, Coral Reef Restaurant, The Garden Grill, La Hacienda de San Angel, Nine Dragons Restaurant, Restaurant Marrakesh, Rose & Crown Dining Room, San Angel Inn Restaurante, Spice Road Table, Teppan Edo, Tokyo Dining, Trattoria al Forno, Tutto Italia Ristoranta or Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria.
The Disney Dining Plans are accepted for Candlelight Dining however it is considered a 2 point dining experience unless you are using the Premium or Platinum Dining Plans. Additionally this special dining experience is not included with Tables in Wonderland.
No matter what holiday you celebrate this is an event not to be missed so make sure to schedule your Candlelight Dining Package to guarantee your seats!
