Carol did a great job of finding creative ways to help pay for her Disney trip! She only paid $2,111.16 out of pocket for a 7 day vacation for 6. That is very impressive! She shared her Disney fund vs spending with us in the Savears.
I’ve been hesitant to post this because I didn’t pay for our whole trip with Swagbucks like some of you. I know it’s always interesting to me to see what you all are doing to fund your Disney trips, so I’ve decided to post anyway. We got back from our 1st family trip to WDW on 5/28. We did 5 nights at Pop with 2 connecting standard rooms and 2 nights at New Smyrna Beach for 6 (kids ages 2, 4, 8, 10) with 5 day basic tickets and Disney Dining plan.

We loved Pop Century and didn’t feel that we missed out on anything by going with a Value and Standard rooms, we really were only there to sleep. However, we just did a quick 5 night trip and didn’t have any resort days scheduled. I think you might want a larger/nicer room if you plan to hang out in a resort for day or two of your trip.
(Thanks Carol)
