Cheryl does a great job of staying consistent! She works SB everyday, even if only for a few minutes. Being consistent is half the battle! Consistency is what gets you Disney or meeting your savings goals.
My family did a quick weekend trip to Walt Disney World! We stayed at Bay Lake Towers for Fri & Sat night and were upgraded to Magic Kingdom view. Sunday night we stayed at the Polynesian, and used our DVC points. We love being in close proximity to the monorail & the parks! We only live 8 hours away from Orlando and are able to fit in weekend trips like this. We visited the Magic Kingdom & Epcot this trip, avoiding the other two parks with the large crowds with the newer attractions.
The best tip I have to share is head to the park that doesn’t have magic hours. As a resort guest we could have taken advantage of those extra hours. But in our experience we have found those parks draw in large crowds on the days with those magic hours. The day we went to the Magic Kingdom, we rode almost every ride in the park before our fast-passes at 10 am. It was amazing, we walked onto almost every ride! This trip wasn’t planned far out in advance, we were limited on what ADR’s we were available to get. But with patience we were able to snag Ohana’s for dinner and Beach’s & Cream for Lunch. We used Disney fund savings to pay for our tickets and our meal plan! Below is a breakdown of how I earned enough to cover our park tickets and meal plan.
