Disney World has plenty of family friendly adventures and chances to meet characters. However, it is also home to 7 Roller Coasters (one being a junior- coaster). Have you rode all 8 of Walt Disney World’s Coasters?
1. Expedition Everest at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Found in Asia, guests must be 44″ tall to try and escape the Yeti. This thrilling coaster ride takes you on an adventure through the Himalayan mountains and climb Mt. Everest on a train style cart.
2. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Stroll down Sunset Boulevard and look for the larger than life size guitar to find this roller coaster. Guests must be 48″ to rock and roll. Experience the thrill of going from 0mph to 60mph at take off. Then enjoy the thrilling ride to famous Aerosmith music.
3. Big Thunder Railroad Mountain at Magic Kingdom
Venture to Adventureland and find this outdoor coaster themed around a haunted gold-mining town. Aboard the runaway railroad train if you are 40″ or taller.
4. Space Mountain at Magic Kingdom
At Tomorrowland, guests will find the large dome that surround this indoor roller coaster thrill ride. Guests must be 44″ to blast off into outer space on this attraction. Guests are seated in a rocket-shaped inspired cart (seating 3 each).
5. Primeval Whirl at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
This is a spinning rollercoaster at DinoLand U.S.A. This outdoor coaster is time-machine themed and showcases dinosaurs. Guests must be 48″ tall to ride.
6. The Barnstormer at Magic Kingdom
Disney World offers a junior roller coaster ride as well, perfect for a first roller coaster experience. The “slow” button is just genius, my daughter (4) loved it. Find this “Goofy” coaster in Fantasyland, guests must be 35″ tall to ride.
7. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at Magic Kingdom
Heigh-ho, Heigh-ho, off to Fantasyland to a coaster racing through a mine train, inspired by Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Guests must be 38″ to board their mine train.
8. Slinky Dog Dash
Guests 38″ and taller can ride in Slinky’s coils on this family friendly coaster. Find Slinky Dog Dash in Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios.
