Is anyone else playing Christmas music around the clock? Or, is that just me? The day after Halloween we start playing our Christmas playlists. I have also been a shopping fool! The deals started super early this year. Honestly, I really like how its all spread out over 2 – 3 months vs starting with the mad dash of Black Friday shopping. Surprise…if you know me I change my mind like I change my unmentionables! I decided to just keep adding all my earnings to my Christmas fund until Christmas. Whatever I have left after Christmas will go into my Disney Fund.
Remember those lists of needs and wants I told you all to make. Now is a great time to pull those out. One of the things on my list was a new vacuum. Last week Target had the Dyson Animal 2 on sale for only $299.00 That is the one I had been eyeing. I went ahead and got that one. I also got some new washcloths, hand towels, and bath towels from Kohl’s. Another thing on my list of needs.
Now on to the fun stuff! What gifts have I bought so far? I got the big SC gift (wink wink). Sam’s Club has a Switch bundle set that comes with an SD card, The Switch, carrying case, and 12 month family membership to Nintendo for $349.99. Which is a great price for everything. Plus, it was actually in stock. They seem to be the never ending all year long hot item. That is hard to find. A few weeks ago they had it on sale for $339.99. I jumped on that offer!
Target has been fighting hard to get our Christmas budget dollars! In the toy book I got a coupon for 25% off anything. One of the things I wanted to get my 6 year old was a Hot Wheel track set. I got him the Hot Wheels Sky Crash Tower for only $32 after the coupon. It came with a free set of 5 Hot Wheel cars. They also have certain Switch games on sale for buy 2 get 1 free. I did that deal to get each kid a game for the Switch. I did have another coupon a $10.00 gift card when you spend $75.00 or more. I rolled that $10.00 into 2 Lego Advent calendars. For spending over $50.00 on Lego’s I got another $10.00 gift card. After it was all said and done my Target total was $157.20 and I have another $10.00 gift card to roll into another deal.
