Christmas is upon us friends! Now is the time to check those lists and recheck them. Finalize your purchases and relax. I was getting a little nervous. The thing Nico wanted the most was the Playmobile Scooby Doo Mansion and the Scooby Doo Mystery Machine. A few weeks ago I was able to get the Mystery Machine. The mansion has been harder to come by. Last week it came back in stock. I snagged that super quick!
Target has been my favorite place to shop this holiday season. The deals are really good! This week they launched the spend $100.00 save $25.00 on toys offer. I got each kid a game. Nico has been asking for Lincoln Logs for a few months. I wanted to get him those for his birthday. My 12 year old really wanted the The Child plush. I added that in to help me get to $100.00. I had a $20.00 Circle offer for shopping twice and spending over $75.00. I rolled that into this purchase. When it was all said and done I only spent $58.33 for 5 things.
Now I just have to finish shopping for the dreaded teen and my husband! Chloe and Nico’s birthday are right after Christmas. That makes it a little harder. We like to get each kid 3 gifts from us with one being something they can read. Then they get a stocking and their Santa gift. The 3 gifts doesn’t always happen especially as Chloe has gotten bigger. We also have a budget per kid. She would rather have one or two more expense things she really wants. This year she asked for nice earrings. I am leaning towards a nice earring and necklace set. Possibly a digital pen depending on how much the jewelry is.
