I did something I haven’t done in a long time. I met a streak goal on Swagbucks. That’s right, I’m getting a bonus. I used to do this regularly, often never missing a streak. SavEars that have been around a long time might remember I was swagging while in labor. I’m so serious. It’s been a while since I’ve done so well. I feel like I go in spurts with swagbucks- I try to do something on there everyday, even if it’s just a search win and the daily poll. Then I’ll have days like the other day where I manage almost 400 sbs. There is no right or wrong way to do it, just remember that every SB you earn is a step forward! I’m hoping by next check-in I’ll have cashed out on Swagbucks!
My secret shopping has been a little slow lately. I don’t know if they are waiting to get new campaigns or what. Maybe they are busy renewing contracts and all that jazz, but man, I need to up my hustle! Come on guys, help a girl out.
I have been trying to nail down any advance dining reservations we may want to make at Disneyland. You guys- they have a Princess Breakfast that looks incredible and features a ton of Princesses and special gifts! The only downside is it’s $125 a person! Minnie also has a great breakfast in the park at Plaza Inn where there are apparently a ton of characters, including some unique ones- like Max Goof is sometimes there! It’s much more in line with WDW character meal pricing. We’ll see how the earning looks for this trip- I hate paying big money for breakfast, but there seems to be only one character dinner at Disneyland. Then again, we’re going to be at Disneyland, do we even want to commit the time to character meals? Help a girl out, would you spend the time on a character meal, if we’re going to be there 3 days?
I’ve gone through and created a list of all the rides in Disneyland we want to make sure to hit- that includes anything that is unique to Disneyland, but also any favorites- like It’s A Small World or Haunted Mansion. I’m really looking forward to showing Miss Bongo Snow White’s Scary Adventure since that one is just a fond memory at WDW.
We’re looking into more meatless recipes- which is hard, because we’re a meat and potatoes family. Well, I’m a meat and potatoes gal and since I cook, that’s what they get. Spaghetti, or really any kind of pasta is my usual meatless go-to, but I don’t want spaghetti every week. Now that cooler weather is creeping in, grilled cheese and tomato soup will be a yummy meal to add into our rotation again. Soup and salad is a good meal to consider too. The hunt for recipes would be so much easier if I liked beans. I choke down a few because my daughter likes them and I want her to be an adventurous eater like her father. So far, so good, she’ll try just about anything!
