I can’t believe we are the cusp of a new decade and year! That has me thinking back to the beginning of 2010 and how far I have come. Back in 2010 I would of never in a million years thought I would of gone to Disney World, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, and Universal Orlando. At that point I was just getting by day to day the best I could. Those where tough times financially for us. There was no space in my brain to dream what I thought was impossible. The biggest thing I have learned this decade is that anything is achievable as long as you have a plan and work towards it daily. No matter how small your income is. Like the Disney saying goes, “Dream big princess!”
Starting 1/1/20, we are going to ring in the new year with a decluttering, organizing, and cleaning challenge. Afterwards we are are going to sell our old things to make money for our funds. You can read more about our new 14 days to a clean, clutter – free home challenge here. January is typically a slow earning month on Swagbucks and Ibotta. Selling our old things is going to be a great way to supplement our earnings for January.
Another great way to supplement your January earnings is to do Swagbucks offers now that will credit in January. Most of the offers on Swagbucks are paying out very well. For most of them its the highest amount we have seen all year. A great offer is the Lifelock 10,000 SB ($100.00) offer. Or the Factor 6,000 SB ($60.00) offer.
My current goal I am working towards is paying off the hotel. I wanted to have it paid off by Jan. 1st. I still need $76.40 to earn. I don’t think that is going to happen. I am moving that goal up by a week. Either way I am happy with the amount I earned in December. My new goal is to have it paid off by 1/6. In order to do that I have to earn $10.91 daily between now and then.
*Goal 1 was plane tickets. – DONE
*Goal 2 is the hotel. Need $1509.19 after the down payment.
*Goal 3 is park tickets.
*Goal 4 is spending money and the food budget.
