Day 24 of Everyday at Disney was spent at Epcot. We got to the park just before it opened but we were in the back of the queue line at the turnstiles. Luckily we weren’t going to any of the attractions that draw the crowds.
Our first stop was Mission Space. Molly Kate loves to play in Space Base (the playground at the exit). She plays there until her siblings come and join after they get off the ride. Next stop was Test Track for the big kids while Molly Kate played in the ride vehicle on the side (it is for Guests can practice transferring into the Test Track ride vehicle before they go to the actual ride). She also loves playing with the racing cars at the exit to Test Track.
The kids were able to go again with my friend so Molly Kate and I enjoyed a show by the Jammitors before we called it a day at the park. We didn’t do much, but we had a blast!
Here’s what I find interesting. It took my friend 1 hour 15 minutes to get from Animal Kingdom Lodge to Epcot due to a bus issue. It took me 45 minutes to get from my front door to Epcot. Craziness!
Tidbits
- Security – Epcot is still performing security tests that send every Guest through the metal detectors. Each time we go it gets a little bit better. Metal detectors for everyone is coming quickly.
- Perfect your Test Track car – There is a design booth for you to perfect your car design at the exit to the Test Track attraction. It is located between the two car racing simulators. Here you can work on the design of your car without feeling rushed. You can save it to your band and as long as you do not tap your band on another design machine inside, it will remain for the rest of the day. Just tap the reader before you get on Test Track.
- Run on the grass – There are a few nice, grassy areas around Test Track where Guests are allowed to roam around and stretch their legs. This is great for your toddler who needs time out of the stroller.
Hope this helps you plan your next Epcot day!
