Lunch at Disney’s Pinocchio Village Haus Review
If you find yourself around Cinderella’s Castle at lunch time, you might want to consider Pinocchio Village Haus. The prices are good and so is the food!
If you’re on the dining plan you can choose an Entree and a Side and a drink. Entrees include Chicken Parmesan on pasta or a Chicken Parmesan Sandwich, a variety of flatbread pizzas and chicken nuggets. Side items are: French Fries, Caesar Side Salad, Tomato Basil Soup, and Four Breadsticks with Marinara Sauce. If you have kids that don’t like pizza, the other options on the kids’ menu include chicken nuggets, mac and cheese and the Uncrustables meal.
Pepperoni Flatbread – $9.49
Side of Breadsticks with Marinara – $4.99
This was my meal. This flatbread was delicious. I mean, I was just expecting decent pizza out of this location but it exceeded my expectations!
The side of breadsticks and marinara were delicious too! The breadsticks were so warm, fluffy and flavorful! We were on the dining plan so we all got a side with our meal – but I can’t eat 4 breadsticks on my own! So everyone got breadsticks! If you’re not on the dining plan, one side of breadsticks is enough for a family of 3 or 4!
Sausage and Pepperoni Flatbread – $10.99
Side Caesar Salad – $3.39
Hubs wanted a meatier meal so he got the sausage and pepperoni flatbread. Look at the size of those sausage meatballs!! He was just as pleased with his flatbread as I was with me.
His side salad however was terrible. It was bland and the dressing watery. But it’s ok because we had plenty of breadsticks!
Neither one of us could finish our flatbreads because they were so big. And no one wants to overstuff at lunch on a hot day.
Kids’ Meal Cheese Pizza (with 2 sides and a drink) – $6.49
Listed sides on the menu for the kids’ meal are apple slices and a smoothie but fries can be substituted for apple slices. The little guy loved the smoothie option! That’s the first time we had come across that option. It’s a great option!
He also thoroughly enjoyed his pizza!
Overall Impression:
Great! The food (with the exception of the side salad) was well above expectations. We traveled during free dining but I still noted prices (for future trips) and the prices here were reasonable for the amount and quality of food you get. Just avoid the Caesar salad in any form!
Would I dine here again?
Yes! I see us having lunch here again! Next time (especially if we’re not on the dining plan) I think we might get the Sausage and Pepperoni Flatbread and the side of breadsticks and split it between 2 adults. That would be $16 for both of us! (You could even add a side of the Tomato Basil Soup and still come in under $20 +tax for 2!) A family of 2 adults and 2 small kids could even split 2 flatbreads and an order of breadsticks – at a cost of around $26!
So yes, I think this might be one of the best choices for dining at Disney both for price and quality of food!
This is good to know. I have never tried this but just might next time Thanks
I was very impressed with both the food and the price! Probably my favorite quick service!
