You can Use A Vinylmation Figurine as a Disney Autograph Book. Stores at the Disney Parks sell a large Vinylmation doll for around $10. You could pick one up and have the characters autograph it. It would look so cute displayed on your shelf!
Alternatively, you could pick up other autographable items like piggy banks, plaques, pillowcases, etc at your local craft store for characters to sign.
Have a kid that loves dinosaurs? Be sure to visit Build-A-Dino in Downtown Disney.
We’re going in November, and I picked up a few Little Golden books for autographs. My daugher is crazy about Peter Pan, so we got one of those, and found one that has all the princesses except for Merida. Also found a Mickey one and one with all the fairies (so we better find Tinkerbell twice — one for the Peter Pan book and one for the fairies book!). I don’t think it will work out cheaper than an autograph book, although I was able to use my Amazon gc’s from Swagbucks so the books were free anyway, but at least I know we’ll read the stories when we get home and enjoy them, instead of having an autograph book that we’ll never look at.
Love this idea, but ls I can not find the white blank vinylmation anywhere. A co worker came up with the idea to make a quilt out of signed fabric squares. I’m thinking about it. Maybe every other square could be an autograph and alternate with black, yellow and red for Mickey colors.
I just thought I would share what we did when we went to Steelers football camp this week. We forgot to bring anything to sign so we hit thier dollar store. They had Steeler wipe off boards. We found that if you use sharpies they don’t wipe off those so we used them. It worked out great! Gave the players something solid to write of and the kids can hang them in thier room. I am guessine it would work for Disney too. If they had princess or Mickey ones that would be really cute.
Love this idea! It is compact and cute – plus you can see the autographs easy.
Just an FYI, last week I was told they didn’t have these anymore at the parks and when they did have it, it was $39.99.
1. I thought they outlawed that, PLEASE tell me they really let you do it now!
2. If you found the blank 9 inchers for $10/each, please pick up a dozen for me next time you’re there!
Not a fan of the Vinylmation. I guess I don’t ‘get’ it.
We did this for our baby shower– I love looking at it on my peanut’s shelf and she will have it with messages from everyone that loved her before she was even born.
That’s a cute idea!
