My recommended reservation times:
Try to reserve an off time such as 11 am, 2:30 pm or 4:30 pm. The lunch and dinner menu are nearly identical so if you are paying out of pocket you should go with a lunch reservation.
This restaurant starts accepting reservations 180 days in advance. To book your reservation, visit Disney Dining online or call 1-407-WDW-DINE or contact your Disney Travel Agent (I recommend Destinations in Florida).
My experiences:
We have never dined here.

I really enjoy Marrakesh. In fact I’ve been there three times now. I’m not sure I can pass it up. The service can be hit or miss, but is always polite. I love Morocco and the theming of the restaurant is well done. The belly dancer and musicians are a fun touch. One of my favorite things about Marrakesh beyond the location and the food is that it’s NEVER crowded. I’ve only been for lunch (I like to plan my big table service meal of the day for lunch typically to break up the day and give us an extended sit down in the air conditioning because we go during summer), but I’ve never been there with more than 4 other tables of diners.
I highly recommend the goat cheese appetizer and the Sultan Sampler entree. I haven’t gotten the deserts because I’m usually so full by the end of my meal, but I’m hoping to save room for the Moroccan Symphany next time. Also, their mint tea is delightful.
I really like Restaurant Marrakesh–the food, the decor, the little bit of entertainment from the belly-dancer. But I feel like the prices have gotten way too high for what you get. I give it a 3 out of 5 stars.
This was probably my least favorite of ANY of the Disney diners we went to! It was WAY too loud, and honestly the food was not that great. Lesson learned though, we will never go back.
One time it was just me and my dad at Epcot and we ate here (now we’ve had every pavillion’s food!!). We didn’t have reservations but we did wait long at all. The food was way different from American food but it tasted much better than we thought it would. The staff is very nice in explaining what the food is. It has been a few years since we ate here and I would like to go back. Our last trip, we had reservations for the Rose and Crown our day in epcot so we didn’t get to eat here.
The staff here told us that reservations are never needed. We were the only diners in the restaurant at noon on a Saturday. The staff is VERY friendly and did a great job helping us learn about their food. The food was,um, interesting. It was a great 1 time experience, but we won’t go out of our way to go there again!
We have eaten here twice and it was very good food and a nice atmosphere. My daughter who was about three was invited, along with the other girls in the restaurant, to go and belly dance with the belly dancer. It was a really good time!
We ate here. The food was very good, but was not a place that I would have to return to if we ever get back to Disney. It was a nice experience, but I preferred the places with characters.
My DH and I ate here in May and I was so disappointed. I love anything with olives and lemon juice so I thought the chicken dish would be great. It was not. The meat was weird and it was mostly dark meat. The lemon and olives were a different taste than what I would expect. My DH got the beef dish he said his was good. The jasmine salad was the only thing I really enjoyed. The belly dancer was really neat though. I wasn’t overly impressed with the staff.
We ate here during our trip in july of last year. We were on the dining plan and went during an off time (maybe 1 or 2?). We didn’t have reservations, but walked right in. We had the goat cheese app, I had veg. couscous and my hubby had the chicken couscous. Our little girl shared part of both of our meals..it was quite a bit of food and way to close to our dinner reservation. The food was good though and my child loved the belly dancing lesson. I have great pictures of her giving it a whirl!! The Moroccan symphony was very good for dessert and held up well, we took it to go since we were stuffed and snacked on it later.
I don’t plan to go back next time because I want to try someplace new, but it was good. For me not one of those “I must go every trip” kind of places, but I am glad we tried it.
We try to eat hear every year when we go to Disney! The restaurant is large and the noise can be a little overwhelming during the dinner rush, but the food is wonderful!
Restaurant Marakesh is a much more exotic dining experience than many of the restaurants in the world showcase. The food, while not standard fare for most people, is delicious and the wait staff is very helpful in guiding you towards a meal you will enjoy. We have always gotten the Marakesh Feast–a four-course sampling of some of their best dishes–and I would highly recommend it.
Marakesh also features a belly dancer and traditional music during the meals.
Even if you don’t eat here for lunch or dinner, stop by and get some of their baklava, it is out of this world!!
