It was a great week for the fund. I sold the diapers I had under the bed to a friend for what I paid for them. Plus we had a little bit of change left.
$38.00 for diapers sold to a friend
$1.83 in spare change
$39.83 added to the Disney fund. $447.50 saved since November 12th, 2011.
I want you to learn how to grow your own fund too! If you are new to couponing, start with the Getting Started Couponing Series, followed by the How To Start Your Fund series. Remember you can use these savings principles to save for anything you want from Disney trips to paying off debt to buying a new television. As the great Walt Disney said “If you can dream it, you can do it!”

What about the money you make from this web site? I don’t know if I’ve noticed a deposit from the monies earned here. Do you just consider that part of your income instead?
Kristin from Couponing to Disney says
Yes. That is our family’s income, not Disney fund. It actually goes to help support my mother in law and special needs nephew. My father in law passed away in 2008 and left them with no money (cancer ate it all). She isn’t able to work but she can’t qualify for disability, so I help cover her bills with blog income. :)

Oh! What an awesome deal on diapers! I am sure they were hard to part with but what a great blessing to your friend. Now that we are not saving for an adoption we are sort of ‘couponing to disney’ too – or some kind of kid friendly vaca ;-) thanks for the inspiration =)
