Disney World recently made some changes to the Disney Guest Assistance Card at the Theme Parks. This caused lots of confusion for future guests. Many guests did not know what this actually meant for their next vacation. As a travel agency owner and Authorized Disney Vacation Planner, I even received very limited details about what this means for our guests. I finally decided I needed to head to Epcot and stop by Guest Relations to learn more about the new process for the Disney Guest Assistance Card. I even took it a step further and spend an evening at Epcot with my family and my mother in law. She had an electric scooter. I wanted to see how the new changes to the Disney Guest Assistance Card affected a family visiting Disney World.
I do think Disney is trying to look out for the best interest for their guests. However, the Disney Guest Assistance Card changes are a little confusing for guests visiting Disney World. If you have any specific questions for your family, you are welcome to email me at allison @ destinationsinflorida.com or contact our team at Destinations in Florida.

Thank you for this explanation and video. We are going to Disney in less than a month with my 5 year old son who has Down syndrome. I have read everything I can find about the new changes for guests with disabilities and this was the best explanation I have found so far. Thank you.
