When thinking about saving for Disney, the thought of a Disney Credit Card may come up. Leaving you wondering, is it worth it? While there is no one right answer if its worth it for everyone, today we have reasons it may be worth it to you!
There are actually 2 different card options: the Disney Premier Credit Card and the Disney Visa Card. Now, learn a bit more about both options!
Annual Fee
Here is where the cards differ, as one has an annual fee and one does not. The Disney Premier Credit Card comes with a $49 annual fee, while the Disney Visa Card has no annual fee.
Initial Credit
One enticing factor to grab a Disney card is the initial credit offer. Disney Premier Credit Card has a $200 statement credit promotion. If you spend $500 within the first 3 months from account opening, enjoy a $200 statement credit. Disney Visa Card offers a similar offer, where you get a $50 statement credit after your first purchase.
0% Financing on Disney Vacations
Another nice perk for BOTH cardholders is the 0% promo APR on select Disney vacation packages. Get 6 months from the date of purchase financing for your next Disney vacation! After the 6 month period regular APR will apply to remaining balance.
Earn & Redeem Rewards Dollars
Disney Premier Credit Card holders will earn 2% in Disney Rewards Dollars on card purchases at gas stations, grocery store, restaurants and more Disney locations. Plus, 1% on all other purchases with card. Disney Visa Card offers cardholders 1% in Disney Rewards Dollars on all purchases.
Then, for BOTH redeem your Rewards Dollars towards Disney theme park tickets, dining and shopping at Disney, Resort stays, Cruise packages and more. There is no limit on the amount of Rewards Dollars you can earn!
Disney Perks
Another big reason to apply, for either card, is for perks while at Disney. If you are a Disney fan that visits the parks often than the 10% off select dining and shopping locations is a nice savings that can add up!
Also with either option, pick your own Disney designed card! Will it be a classic Mickey Mouse? Tinkerbell? The options make it hard to choose!
Another rewards card to consider for rewards is Discover for no annual fee and 5% cash back promos each quarter.
