Disney Dining Menus: Biergarten
Location: Germany Pavilion in Epcot
It is located in the back of the pavilion. It is a Table-Service restaurant themed as a Bavarian Village town square set up for a party. Guests dine at tables for eight and if you have a small party, you will be seated with other guests. If you are dining for lunch, you might be selected to tap the keg (a free beer is your reward). As you dine, you will be serenaded by all manners of entertainment. Food is an all-you-care-to-eat buffet of German favorites.

It was one of our favorites when we went. Plan on going again on our upcoming trip in October! We cannot wait!
I have always loved this restaurant, but when we took our kids (almost 2 and 4 1/2 at the time) during their first trip to Disney, I was a little nervous. Boy were my fears undeserved! They LOVED the food and really enjoyed the show, too. Both kids ended up dancing on the dance floor, and we were able to have a nice leisurely lunch. If you have small children and can time it like we did, get a lunch reservation a little before the show starts. That way you won’t miss the show while getting your food, and towards the end when the kids want to get up to dance you will probably be done except for maybe dessert, which you can then get when the show is over. :)
We love Biergarten! My husband has German ancestry, so he especially enjoys it. We are taking a big family trip next year and we hope everyone else likes it as much as we do!
One of our favorite restaurants at Disneyworld!! We are celebrating our anniversary in July there! The food is great and the servers are very friendly and love to talk about Germany, just start asking them questions about where they live and grew up. My son spent time in Germany last summer and said the food at the Biergarten is very authentic! The evenings are great with the music and dancing, so much fun! Small children will love it!
Love this restaurant! We ate here twice the last time we went. If you get there early enough, you may not have to sit with others (we never did). The kids loved to dance to the music. Growing up eating a lot of German food, I can say that this food was fantastic!
We LOVE this restaurant!!!! The food is out of this world, the service fantastic and the floor show – WOW! I can’t believe it’s only 1 pt. on the dining plan. We’re going back in September and we can’t wait to get back to Biergarten!
So excited to see all the great reviews because we are eating there in December! A little worried about my toddler, but DH and I have traveled to Germany together and both have German background so I know we’ll love it. Hoping the kids will love the band and it’ll be worth the experience for them.
We ate there for the first time last year (the trip before that we’d planned on it, but that awful norovirus was going around and I was too freaked to eat at buffets!). All I can say is….I STILL DREAM OF THEIR BAVARIAN CHEESECAKE. And I don’t even like cheesecake. But OMGosh, it was heavenly!
The Biergarten is a fun restaurant, serving good food, delicious desserts, and genuine imported German beer. However, if you are traveling with small children, especiallly little girls, get your money’s worth at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall – Princess Storybook Lunch; this restaurant is a little girl’s dream come true. The Biergarten’s ambience is perfect for a couple vacationing on their own, or with teenagers.
We have eaten at the Biergarten every time we’ve been. It does seem strange for many to eat with strangers but trust me that’s pretty normal for beer halls and such in Germany. The best part though? This is the food I grew up eating and it is just as good as my Mom’s and Oma’s (grandma) ever was. Which is usually not the case no matter how good the restaurant is.
We all really liked the food here. My oldest asked if we could eat there again this last trip but since we were only there for 3 days we didn’t really do any sit down dinners (except for our favorite Yak and Yeti). Next time we will eat there though!
We’ve eaten here three times and we obviously love it. I highly recommend that you eat here for lunch, not dinner. The last time we went, we made reservations for 4:00, not realizing that the lunch prices ended at 3:00. It’s really good but really wasn’t worth $200 for 4 people (our kids are considered adults).
LOVE the Biergarten. The atmosphere is s charming and thewait staff is teriffic! We make this a must do each trip to Disney. My kids love it too, they love to dance and dance and dance to the Oom Pah band. The food is wonderful if you like German food, which we do. Definitely a favorite in this house!
We made our first trip ever to WDW last October, and this was one of the restaurants we chose. This was our favorite!! Yak and Yeti would be a close second though. The food was DELICIOUS!! It is a buffet, and even my children (9 and 5) loved it. However, the biggest reason it was our favorite was the floor show. My 6 year old danced, and danced, and danced in that beautiful little German square. She had a MAGICAL evening! I don’t think she stopped grinning… well, we were in Disney World, she didn’t stop grinning, but this grin was especially big. We LOVE Biergarten! I’m certain it will be on our list of restaurants to include in our next trip.
Yak and Yeti is our favorite!!! Biergarten is right up there though!!!
We have eaten there about three times, my husband loves it! Next year in january will be the first time we will not be eating there only cause we choose new restaurants!
At first I was uncomfortable sitting with other people but now I love it! Total German food but very good! The staff is excellent!
