Walt Disney World and Dining at ‘Ohanas for dinner is something you must experience at least once in your life. Not only is the atmosphere incredible, but the food is absolutely amazing. It is some of the best steak I have ever had.

This restaurant starts accepting reservations 180 days in advance. To book your reservation, visit Disney Dining online or call 1-407-WDW-DINE or contact your Disney Travel Agent (I recommend Destinations in Florida).
My experiences:
We ate here on our anniversary trip and it was AMAZING. They had the best steak I have ever tasted in my life. It is worth going just for the steak. I highly recommend that you order a glass of ice water in addition to your beverage choice. The waiters also have to serve the family style food to the dining room and on both trips our drinks ran dry long before we were able to get a refill. It is great to have the water as back up.

Dinner at ‘Ohana is our favorite meal of every trip! The first few years we were able to see Wishes from our table. The last 3 or 4 trips we have had no view. I have started making our reservations for about 90 – 120 minutes before Wishes, giving us time to explore and catch the Electric Water Pageant from the beach before Wishes starts. We NEVER miss a dinner here, even though they have reduced their sauce choices to just one, I liked the three sauces better.
Unbelievable food….everything was delicious. Our favorite sit down dinner by far. My kids loved it too….highly recommend. Lots of non stop good food.
We ate here on our last disneyworld trip and I have to say this is the one that we talk about the most and want to go back to the next time that we go. The food here was awesome, and how they serve it makes it so much fun! We joined in on the hula dance lessons, it was just an over all good time.
I took my husband and my then 2 year old daughter to O’hana’s for the character breakfast last August and it was amazing. When I called to make the reservation I told them it was my husbands 40th birthday and they asked me what his name was and said they would take care of things! When we arrived they immediatly seated us and then Mickey and Pluto met us at our table to give my husband a Birthday card signed by all the characters (Mickey, Pluto, Lilo and Stitch)! It was so amazing they ended up coming to our table about 4 different times to give my daugher hugs and to this day she still talks about her friends she met at Disney World! And yes the food was just as amazing as the experience. No matter what your budget is, if you have children or if you are a child at heart please make sure you do at least one character meal. It is something you will always remember!
We went to the Polynesian Luau for dinner one night & it was Fabulous! We LOVED the food, entertainment, everything! It’s something we would Love to do every time we go back to Disney. Although it was a little pricey for us, we feel like it was completely worth it-because it wasn’t just dinner, it was an entire experience!
Thanks for the recommendation! It helps to know what others think!
We went to O’Hana’s during our anniversary trip in 2005….before having kids. We had the dining plan for free. It was our favorite restaurant of the trip. We talk all the time about going back there. The food was SO yummy and that atmosphere was great too. Now if we can just figure out what to do with the kids in December when we go this year. :-)
OMG!! We had dinner here on our last night in Disney and it was PERFECT! we had 8:30pm reservations for 17 people they sat us quickly. I had only had breakfast here so I didnt know that you can see the fireworks over the castle or that they piped the music in!!!!!!! OMG!! What a wonderul way to end an amazing trip! I have picky eaters and they made sure they ate too( they made my youngest a grilled cheese) The food was never ending and the service was great! This is now one of my most favorite places to eat!! If you have not tried it PLEASE do, you wont be disappointed!! This is on our must do list!!!
This is a must for us every trip !! Food is fabulous, entertainment is fun, and if you time it just right you can watch the fireworks at MK without the crowds !! My husband who is only a meat/potatoes guy actually ate the potstickers,, and service is grand, our other son who preferrs processed chix. products would not even try anything so they brought him out chicken nuggets !! and the dessert,, oh boy, its a unbutton your pants kinda meal !!!
Loved it!! Food was great and we all enjoyed the atmosphere!!! Loved the grilled pineapple. Havn’t done the breakfast yet but I hear it’s great!
yum yum yum is all i have to say! the food is amazing and I wish it wasn’t so hard to get dinner reservations to eat at a normal hour.
Out of all the restaurants I have eaten at WDW, ‘Ohana’s is my favorite!! I love the sides they bring out, the meat, but most important the dessert!!
This was the first reservation I made for our upcoming trip! Can’t wait!
We have been to the luau and di not like it, felt crowded and food was not that good, much prefer Ohana
Ohana’s is one of my favorite restaurants. Its a must every trip. You get an abundance of really good food and just a fun experience. I’ve recommended this to many people and have all come back with similar rave reviews.
The luau is in a different location but still at the polynesian hotel. The last time I was there, I was about 6 (so 24 years ago), so I couldn’t tell you the specifics.
We have been going to WDW as a family since 2007. We ate there on our first trip and my family fell in love with Ohana. This is my husbands must have table service reservation. We eat there every time we visit. In our last 2 trips we have chose to eat at Ohana at least 2 times for dinner . Sometimes I think my husband would eat there the whole week we visit. I love the steak, shrimp and salad best, and even tough I am usually stuffed by the end of the meal I save room for the banana fosters dessert, it is wonderful!!! Love the lady that does the singing and kids activities, she make the meal so much fun. Could not go to Disney without eating here!!!
Do they have the luau at Ohana or is it at a different place? Have any of you done the luau and if so, is it worth the money?
This is by far my favorite restaurant-not only at Disney but ever! I ADORE this place. My boyfriend hasn’t gone yet and his first Disney vacation is next year and we are making reservations-I’m so excited since the last few times I’ve gone on random last minute trips to Orlando they have had no reservations available :( Definitely make reservations early here-especially if you are going during peak season! Fills up fast but soooo worth it! Plus if you have food allergies like I do I really recommend this place-the chefs are always more than accommodating here and really friendly.
Can NOT make a trip without eating at Ohana! Our favorite all time restaurant. We have eaten in every section with views and without. Of course the view tables are awesome! The food is always consistently good. I hate that it’s so small making ressies hard to come by!! Don’t delay book it early!!!!!
By far our favorite restaurant, not just at Disney, but in the entire world. Amazing food, kids had fun and actually ate some of the food, server brought extra items for our picky son! Dessert was amazing. Proteins cooked to perfection. Great service. The wait for our table was a bit long, even with the reservation, but it was worth the wait.
We ate there last week, food and service were excellent. The servers were vey accomodating, They will make your steak the way you like it. We were celebrating an anniversary and they brought the couple a decorated cupcake. The pineapple bread pudding dessert is worth the trip on its own. The only complaint I have is it is difficult to get reservations so be sure to reserve very early. As soon as I know when our next trip is I will definitely make reservations to go back. Kids had a great time as well.
We ate here back in February. The food was great, the dessert was out of this world. Our waiter even brought us a second dessert (though we couldn’t eat much of it because we were too full). Our service wasn’t the best. We got our appetizers, then the meat started coming. Eventually we had to ask for side dishes. The chicken wings were great and the noodles were really good too. Overall, the entire meal was great. It was just my husband and myself so we didn’t participate in the kids’ activities, but there was a lot of stuff going on, both for adults and children.
The one thing that wasn’t how I expected was that I asked for a window table and we were put near the window, but still a row away. There is the big middle section of the restaurant, then there is a walkway and there are 2 rows of tables around the windows. Next time I’ll know to ask for a table right against the window.
‘Ohana was great and I am looking forward to going back in a couple weeks when I go to Disney by myself.
We ♥ Ohana! Dinner time was amazing…great food, great atmosphere and definitely go during firework time! We went last year during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween and they pipe in the music from the fireworks display so you can hear it while you are eating the wonderful meal! We ate there on our 1st night staying at the Polynesian and ended up going on our last night…perfect way to start our vacation and end it! I recommend Ohana to everyone who goes to Disney World…you won’t be disappointed! Oh and we also ate breakfast there and had a great time with Mickey, Lilo & Stitch! And the service is wonderful as well!
We just got back from WDW and we ate at Ohana on our first night. We loved it. You get so much food! It just keeps arriving at your table! And it is all delicious. My daughters (age 4 and 3) loved learning the hula and doing the parade around the restaurant. They were entertained with that for at least 30 minutes. It seems like it would be a really great place for large groups, but it worked well for us as a family of 4 too. We will definitely return to Ohana!
The food here was really good but I almost felt like there was too much! Overwhelming! Unfortunately our waitress was not too friendly but we’ve done breakfast at Ohana several times and never had that experience so I’m sure it isn’t characteristic of the restaurant. The steak was definitely amazing. The shrimp were too spicy I thought, and I like spicy, but this was just too much to the point where it was all heat and not too much flavor. We had a good experience here but I think I prefer the breakfast. Oh, but the dessert was to die for!!! Can’t forget to mention that!
We just love Ohana and definitely recommend you make reservations and go. The grilled meats are so yummy and they keep bringing more until you say when. And for those who have picky kid eaters, Disney is accomodating as always in providing other options. (I think they have characters at Ohana breakfast if that is more your thing, but I would recommend you have a meal without characters and enjoy the grilled meats, side dishes etc instead for dinner)
We were there for dinner in August. By far the best table service meal we had.
LOVE Ohanas!! Entertainment is fun and the food is fantastic! Loved the ginormous grilled prawns. Steak was excellent too. And leave room for dessert. My fave is the fresh pineapple dipped in caramel sauce! Yummy!!!
We having been going to WDW every year for the past 5 years. Last year was the first time we have been able to score a reservation. The whole family enjoyed the meal! My husband was in ectasy because of all the food. We just couldn’t believe how much there was! My suggestion is to try just a little of all they bring you. That way you can try it all. The night we were there we were able to watch “Wishes,” the fireworks display. It was incredible! You could hear the audio from the fireworks and it was so much fun to see the display from a different angle. The icing on the cake was not having to fight the crowd after the fireworks were over. We have reservations to go back this fall and my whole family and I are so excited! You can’t go wrong with ‘Ohana!!
