Walt Disney World and Dining at ‘Ohanas for dinner is something you must experience at least once in your life. Not only is the atmosphere incredible, but the food is absolutely amazing. It is some of the best steak I have ever had.
Restaurant: ‘Ohana Dinner at Disney World
Location: Disney’s Polynesian Resort
Tidbit: Even though this restaurant is located at a resort, anyone can eat here. If you are driving, just let the gate keeper know you have a dining reservation and he will let you park. If you are taking Disney transportation, you will need to take a bus from your resort to a park or Downtown Disney and then transfer to the bus for the resort where the meal is located.
This is a table service restaurant. You will use 1 table service credit when you dine here. Reservations recommended.
Dinner (3:30 pm – 10 pm) served family style including Pork Dumplings, Grilled Chicken Skewer, Marinated Sirloin Steak, Spicy Shrimp and more.
There is a Hawaiian musician who serenades you while you eat. She also invites you to join her in parades. When Wishes starts, they dim the lights and play the Wishes music.
My recommended reservation times:
First table of the evening or about an hour before Wishes is scheduled to begin.
This restaurant starts accepting reservations 180 days in advance. To book your reservation, visit Disney Dining online or call 1-407-WDW-DINE or contact your Disney Travel Agent (I recommend Destinations in Florida).
We ate here on our anniversary trip and it was AMAZING. They had the best steak I have ever tasted in my life. It is worth going just for the steak. I highly recommend that you order a glass of ice water in addition to your beverage choice. The waiters also have to serve the family style food to the dining room and on both trips our drinks ran dry long before we were able to get a refill. It is great to have the water as back up.
