Update: This restaurant is being renamed and rethemed.
Pizza Planet Restaurant in Hollywood Studios is a counter service restaurant. It is a great place to take the kids, just remember to bring a roll of quarters!
Dining Plan:
This is a counter service restaurant. You will use 1 quick service dining credit when you eat here. You are allowed an entree, beverage and dessert on the dining plan for 1 credit.
Tip: A regular drink is automatically included with the dining plan, but you can upgrade to a large drink for FREE! You must ask for it though.
Also bring some quarters with you for this restaurant. It has games to play inside like an arcade.

My experiences:
We love this restaurant! It is a great place to unwind and let the kids play for a while. Plus if the downstairs is crowded, there is outdoor and upstairs seating as well.

We love Pizza Planet! Fun atmosphere, food was good and the carrot cake cupcake is to die for! We are planning our trip for this year and going back just to get that cupcake.
We just ate at Pizza Planet last week! We really liked it. They had a cappucino cupcake that was awesome! My only complaint was that several of the video games didn’t work properly. Its also nice that there is indoor and outdoor seating :)
We LOVED pizza planet. The food was good, and the decor was cute, and it was just awesome for my kids (big Toy Story fans) to be able to say they went to Pizza Planet. A word of advice though: If you are planning on eating dinner there make sure you check their closing times. We assumed they had the same closing time as the park, but the day we were there they closed a couple of hours earlier than the park. We were lucky and made it there 5-10 minutes before closing and were able to eat. They closed the counter area right after we ordered and left the dining area open for those of us who were still eating.
We just ate here a few days ago! We were on the dining plan and my husband and I both had the meatball sub with a Cesar Salad, drink, and a HUGE cappuccino cupcake! My daughter seemed to enjoy her kids pizza also! I’m thinking the prices were around $9.50 for a adult size personal pizza, then you’d have to purchase separate drink and cupcake if you wished.
When I was there in March they did not have the rice krispies but did have a fantastic cupcake.
How much is the food if you aren’t on the dining plan?
allears(dot)net keeps updated lists of disney restaurant menus with pricing. I used that to help plan our dining b/c we weren’t on the dining plan. HTH
We’ve eaten here on both trips. Pizza is great, the atmosphere is great, and it’s right next to some cute shops.
The drink cup had the aliens on it and it was a favorite souvenir. Also, there were some gumball type machines that dispensed little rubberized winnie the pooh figurines. We spent about ten bucks trying to get the whole set. They are adorable and we shared them with friends when we got back.
We love this restaurant too and will normally eat here once during a trip. We love the environment and the pizzas are reminiscent of lunches in high school! The kids love the Toy Story theme!
