Looking for meals you can split at Walt Disney World restaurants? There are a few meals at the Counter Service restaurants in Walt Disney World that provide so much food that they can easily be split between 2 adults or 1 adult and 1 child. Here are just a few that I know of:
Columbia Harbor House in Magic Kingdom – Split the Trio Platter with Fried Shrimp, Battered Fish & Breaded Chicken Breast Nuggets. Plus it is served with Coleslaw and choice of Steamed Fresh Vegetables, Apple Slices or French Fries $13.99 + $4.29 for desert.
Pinocchio Village Haus In Magic Kingdom – Split the Pepperoni Flatbread for $11.99 and add an extra order of Garlic Breadsticks for $4.99
Casey’s Corner In Magic Kingdom – Split the Macaroni & Cheese All-Beef Hot Dog for $13.49. One person can eat the Mac & Cheese and the other can split the hotdog (or split it between 2 children). You’ll also get enough fries to split with the meal purchase.
Pecos Bill in Magic Kingdom – Split the adult nachos between 2 people for $12.99 and load up on the toppings bar.
Tangierine Cafe in Epcot – Split the Shwarma Chicken & Lamb Platter for $16.95. You’ll also get Tangierine Couscous Salad with fresh Moroccan Bread.
Via Napoli In Epcot – Split the Wood Fired Authentic Pizza 20″ for $30 for 2-3 people and the Mezzo Metro (x-large) $42 for 3-5 people (pictured above).
Satu’li Canteen – Many of the bowls including the combination bowl ($16.99) are big enough to split.
Flame Tree Barbecue in Animal Kingdom – Split the Ribs and Chicken Combo for $15.49. The meal comes with Home-made Baked Beans and Coleslaw or split the Ribs, Chicken and Pulled Pork Sampler (pictured above) for $18.99 and add a piece of $2 corn bread and maybe even a $4.99 order of Onion Rings.
Wolfgang Puck Express in Disney Springs – The personal size pizza is big enough for 2 people to share or the rotisserie chicken meal.
Blaze Pizza – The pizzas are huge and inexpensive. Definitely can split one pizza between 2 people.
D-Luxe Burger – These can be really loaded! Split one and consider adding an extra order of fries to enjoy their dipping sauce.
Earl of Sandwich in Disney Springs – Order one of their sandwiches and then pay $0.99 for 2 extra slices of bread. You can then spread the fixings among both sandwiches (they give you a ton of meat!).
Resort Food Courts – We like to split the Breakfast Platter in the mornings. We usually get an extra 2 slices of bread for a small cost to go along with it.
Many Resort Food Courts also have a large pizza for $29.99. Check with your resort at check in or view the menu (I know Pop Century, The All Stars and Ft. Wilderness all have this option).
Please chime in with the meals that your family splits on your trips!

We like to split the orange chicken platter at the quick service restaurant at the China pavilion in Epcot. If we are really hungry, we will order a side of egg rolls. It’s delish!
Seasons at Epcot I normally get the chicken, rice, and black bean dish and that’s easily split between 2 people. Full rotisserie chicken, heaping spoon of rice and heaping spoon of beans
My granddaughter & I always split a pizza at Blaze Pizza (Disney Springs). It’s an 11″ pizza cut into 6 slices. If you want a more filling pizza to split, pay the extra $2 to get a thicker crust. Blaze is great because you can pile as many (or as few) toppings as you’d like on your pizza for less than $10. You can even order what they call a half-and-half pizza so one half has whatever toppings you want & the other half whatever the other person wants.
And no need to worry about skimping on the toppings. The pizzas are made like the subs at Subway – you watch while it’s being made in front of you & tell them if you want more of any topping. They offer about 4 different sauces and a ton of different cheeses. They even have vegan chorizo!
We are going next August. Since we are all (3 adults) on diets, my daughter and I are planning on splitting counter service meals. I like the places that have the toppings stations because we can load up on vegetables on our burgers!
Hi there!!
I am planning a trip to DisneyWorld, with my fiancee, sister-in-law, her husband, and their two young girls. Her husband is a real stickler for being boring. He doesn’t plan on going on any of the rides at all, of course I see that as a positive though–someone to hold our bags!!!! (yay) With that, I don’t know what to schedule our fast passes for? I actually don’t really know where to start with the whole process. They are coming from London. It will be the first time the girls will be in the states to begin with, so that in itself will be exciting for them. All these blogs, so don’t wait till the last minute. Sticking to a set schedule though is SO challenging with this group. How do I best play it by ear??
Hi Nicole, check out this link from Touringplans.com. I also recommend purchasing a 1 year subscription to Touringplans in order to make your customized schedules for each day at the parks. There are certain rides in each park you definitely want to make Fast Passes for-Soarin’, Fast Track at Epcot for example, the new Avatar rides at Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Tower of Terror and Toystory Midway Mania at Hollywood Studios, Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan, Barnstormer at Magic Kingdom. Of course some of these will depend on the age of your fellow attendees. Touringplans also has ratings for each of the rides if you need help deciding if you want to go on some of them. Some fast passes will also be dependent on what time you get to the park (i.e. if you’re there early at rope drop, you most likley won’t need a fast pass for some of the more popular rides if you can get on them before the parks fills up). Remember to create your My Disney Experience login/account as soon as possible. You need to link your resort reservations if you’re staying at a Disney Hotel, in which case you can get your MagicBands mailed to you or kept at the resort, and you will also link your park tickets here. You can also make your dining reservations up to 6 months out from your arrival, and you will also select your Fast Passes for each of the people in your party using this web site. https://touringplans.com/magic-kingdom/fastpass
I forgot to add. If you think 1 group won’t want to ride all the same rides, you can make them a separate schedule. Don’t be afraid to split up and meet up later. It can be hard having a large group trying to all follow each other around, especially if some of them don’t want to do the same things. If you want to wing it, I would still recommend you make sure and schedule the rides you definitely want to do see. If you have multiple days at the same park, a good strategy I’ve followed was to spend 1 day doing everything on 1 side of the park and then doing the rides/attractions on the other side of the park a different day. It just cuts back on the walking. Here is the Fast Pass link I missed included earlier: https://touringplans.com/walt-disney-world/fastpass
We split the funnel cake or waffles with strawberries and whipped cream at Sleepy Hallow in the Magic Kingdom.
You are missing splitting the rotisserie chicken dinner at Cosmic Ray’s.
we love doing this! And we find that we can split most meals after the first day because we feel so stuffed from eating so much more than we usually do!
can you go from park to Ft. Wilderness on the boat if you do not have a hopper? We are not staying on Disney property nor have a hopper.
Christine you can go back and forth to Ft. Wilderness and the park with your ticket. If you want to leave Ft. wilderness to go to a different park, that’s when you would need the park hopper option. HTH!
Hmm… Splitting the Chicken & Ribs platter at Cosmic Ray’s was always one of our favorite options too. But when we were there in August, it wasn’t on the menu. We’re going to be back in November and we’ll definitely look for it again though. (Otoh, if we can get into Be Our Guest, we may not care so much about Cosmic Ray’s lol.)
The Chicken and Ribs platter have been taken off the lunch menu, but are still on the dinner menu!
Amanda, is that right? That makes me very happy :)! Even though I didn’t know that CS restaurants had separate lunch/dinner menus. See? You can teach an old Disney lover new tricks :).
It was news to everyone! I believe that is the only exception to the counter-service restaurants with lunch/dinner menus.
I, also, recommend Wolf Gang Puck Express. The size of the individual pizza is CRAZY….definitely should be eaten by 2 people. And if you go there for breakfast, their breakfast pizza is the same size as their regular menu pizza. Don’t eat one alone :-)
We’ve ordered double cheeseburgers extra buns. We took one meat patty off each one and put it on the extra buns.
Is that an option at any of the places offering burgers?
I really love Wolfgang Puck Express in the Downtown Disney Marketplace You can order you food at the counter and they will bring it over to your table. So it feels like a sit down location. Also salads are very big and good. Same with the pasta. The Macaroni & Cheese is a great choice.
I just got back from POR and you could easily split the build your own pasta meals at the food court between two people.
Good to know! thanks!
Where is POR?
We do this to make our Dining Plan stretch. Share a breakfast and share a lunch and you get 3 full meals a day out of your 2 meal 1 snack per day plan. Cosmic Rays is where we first learned this little trick. It’s a “must eat” place for us when we visit.
the ft. wilderness boat ride from magic kingdom will it take you back after lunch and you can go back to the park? I am planning a massively organized trip in may 2013 for 3 adults and 2 children that would make a fun break between all the walking and who doesnt love a boat ride…
Hi Jessica, you can leave the park and enter the same park as many times as you like with the Magic Your Way Base Pass, and can enter any of the other parks with the Magic Your Way Park Hopper Pass. The boat rides can definitely be a lot of fun, and a great way to relax!
@Jessica The boat leaves to go back and forth about every 20 min.
We also like to get Casey’s pulled pork hot dog. You can take the pork and cole slaw off for one person and even split the huge hot dog between two small children. They also give you enough fries for 2-3 people.
It sure will! It will let you go in a big circle if you want. Just think of them like the busses. They run ever…15 minutes? Something like that. OH and my daughter wasnt thrilled with the boat ride (you asked! lol).
HTH! Jen
are you staying in Ft WIlderness? If so you can take a inside bus(the bus that runs throughout the campground) to the back of the campground where the boat launch, hoop de do review and the buffet (name escapes me right now..but a good deal for a pretty decent buffet, and I believe they do chicken carry outs). It’s a little bit of a walk if I remember correctly but not bad. However, going to any of the other parks we found it easier to drive becuase it was kinda a pain getting on one bus getting off that bus to get on another bus all the while having toting 3 children under 5 and thier strollers.
We camp at Ft Wilderness all the time and it’s a fantastic place for kids. Right beside the Trails End Restaurant there is a playpark for the kids to play if they are finished eating and the adults aren’t. It’s great to keep them busy while the adults take a rest before going back to the parks.
