Tidbit: Even though this restaurant is located at a resort, anyone can eat here. If you are driving, just let the gate keeper know you have a dining reservation and he will let you park. If you are taking Disney transportation, you will need to take a bus from your resort to a park or Downtown Disney and then transfer to the bus for the resort where the meal is located.

We ate there for our 25th wedding anniversary. The food was excellent, the service was top notch, and I even received a single red rose on my dinner plate. We also received small boxes of chocolate after dinner (not sure if everyone receives this, or if it was because of our anniversary). My husband ordered the steak and he said that it melted in his mouth. It was a magical night!

This is one of the absolute best restaurants in Disney. If you like Le Celliers steaks- You will die for Yachtsman. Their steaks make Le Celliers look like a ground beef patty. We normally always get a steak of some kind but last time I got the ravioli… I couldn’t believe how fantastic it was! We have lingered for hours over the appetizer, main and dessert along with our wine. Unlike Le Cellier (where you are rushed in and out and the tables are so close together that when people scoot by your table their butt touches your table-ugh!) the service is at your pace and the setting is elegant yet relaxed. We are eating there on Oct. 23rd and I can’t wait! Definitely worth 2 table credits (or cash!) especially since that other place is now 2 table service credits too!

We ate there for our Anniversary about 5 years ago, and let me just say…it was….
A W E S O M E!!!! My hubby ordered the 24 oz porterhouse….never dreamed he could eat that much steak in one sitting….but he said it was TOO GOOD, and he could not put his fork down! We got the cutest little Minnie N Mickey sugar topper from a dessert that was MAGICALLY brought to our table. It had the teeniest “Happy Anniversary” written on the banner under the happy couple…you almost needed a magnifying glass to read it. I kept it for a couple years, but it had started to fade…so I had to toss it out. I HIGHLY recommend eating at The Yachtsman!! You will be glad you did!

We ate there 3 years ago and everything was FABULOUS! We went as two couples (left the kids with G’parents) and had a great meal. Some had steak, some had scallops, and we had great wine and great dessert to go with it. We pride ourselves on being “steak particular” and are picky about cuts, how it’s cooked, etc. and we could not have had a better dinner. Service was great too. It was nice to take a night off from the hustle and bustle of Disney and relax at a restaurant outside of the parks and unwind. We didn’t make it there last trip out to WDW, but we will get there the next time. Not to be missed.

My family and I dined there in July 2010. It was a nice dinner but not worth two credits. Le Cellier was WAY better and only one credit. The atmosphere was a bit hustled and we felt rushed. The food was good but not great. It was a hassle to get to by bus because my dad was in a motorized scooter. We had to wait for several busses to find one that had the scooter area free. Since more buses run to the parks than from hotel to hotel, it would’ve been a better choice for us to make a reservation at a park restaurant. Definitely not worth two credits for dinner.
