Agree with Cindy–my husband, son and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Yak and Yeti. Excellent service, seated quickly, amazing food. Making more than 1 reservation there for our next trip is a TOP priority.
This is our favorite place to eat at WDW!! (I dream about the ribs!!!!) My mom is a picky eater so for her to find something different that she likes is well….a disney miracle…lol We used our landrys gift cards we earned through mypoints and our rewards we got from thier club and was able to shave quite a bit off our total bill. The service is always wonderful and this last time our reservations was for 2:30 and we got hungry about noon and they were able to seat us within 10 minutes. Cannot wait to go back!
We loved our Yak and Yeti dining experience. The service was amazing and the food was some of the best we had in Disney. We ate a late lunch and was able to catch the parade immediately after. The food is prepared simply…and presented in a way that appears like art. I remeber feeling like the flavors melted in my mouth.
Enjoy!!
Which Parade? Just curious. Never been to AK. Didn’t know there was a parade.
We ate at Yak & Yeti on our last trip. My husband and son loved it! I was pregnant and Chinese food upset my stomach my whole pregnancy so I ended up taking mine to go. I have to say the waiter was very kind and accommodating all things considered. We would eat here again, so long as I’m not preggers!
We ate.there on our last trip. This was one of our faves. My husband is vegetarian and the options for him were interesting and delicious. And it is a nicely decorated place with great service.
We made reservations and had no wait. We used the gift cards for Landrys restaurants that we had earned through Discover card plus my husband had the $25 birthday money off the bill from the Landrys club so it was nice to have a free meal! We enjoyed the meal and the service was great. I second the nice air conditioning. My son who ate his way through WDW eating lots of burgers loved the Koby burger, he still talks about it months later. So, if we ever go back, he made us promise to take him there for the Koby burger.
My family ate at Yak and Geri last March. We used our deluxe d. ining plan so we enjoyed appetizers meals and desserts! Service was wonderful and the restaurant itself was not crowded. We did not have reservations but was seated immediately. It seemed like an upscale dining experience. I almost felt underdressed in our ‘theme park’s clothes. Asian cuisine was authentic and fresh plus they offered my picky kids simple meals. The amount of food was overwhelming but we chose a little of everything to sample and share.
We made reservations and ate there. We had no wait. The kids loved it because we got there as a parade was going by and they could sit and watch the parade while waiting for their order. They enjoyed the decor and the food. My picky eater even found something on the menu to eat. My son in particular loved it because he was very into big foot. I enjoyed it because of the air conditioning and the down time before revving up for the afternoon. We went for an early afternoon lunch.
We had a wonderful meal at the Yak and Yeti. It was a spur of the moment decision to stop in for lunch and we waited only 10 minutes for the 6 of us to be seated at 1:00. The food was delicious- all 6 of us enjoyed what we ordered and the decor of the restaurant was typical of Disney- fantastic! I would definitely recommend it!
My husband and I ate there last December–I, at first, was leery but the food was wonderful. Service and server was great and if you schedule your dinner right—you can watch the parade out the window.
