Just had it today and was great!
This is one of my favorite places to eat at Disney World and is always a MUST stop to eat…even if I’m full. Wished it were bigger portions, but it’s nice because Epcot is like a sample of foods from all different countries. LOVE the fish & chips (fries).
One of my favorite places! The fish is always fresh from the fryer and super hot; the taste is exactly what you’d expect of superior fried fish–you can taste the mildness of the fish without being overwhelmed by the delicious crunchy coating. A tale of caution, however! A perfect eating place is the benches around the back with a great view of the lake. This is ruined, however, by the aggressive seagulls that inhabit the area. They have no fear of people and will swoop down and take the fish from your hands whether you are offering it or not! At our last visit my husband had his entire meal stolen by a seagull who swooped down between us as my husband had his fish wrapped in a napkin and was about to take a bite.
This is my mom’s favorite Counter Service location in all of WDW. It is a must do for us on every trip. The fish is good (I am not a big fish eater, but even I will take a bite or two) and the fries are among the best in WDW. There are tables outside, however it is always crowded. We usually grab our food and head over to the curb by the UK stores or find a bench towards the back of the pavilion. You simply cannot beat the atmosphere!
We love this place!!!! I read on Mousesavers that it is the same fish as the Rose and Crown. I have eaten a both and I have to agree it seems to be the same but alot less expensive! I too am not a big fish eater but it is really good!!! Epcot has the best places to eat it is really hard to narrow it down but this place is awesome! I wish MK had better choices!
We ate here and I LOVED it! We ate sitting on the curb outside the restaurant and people watched while we ate. We all got the fish and chips (french fries) and I thought it was yummy! The fish was a white fish and it wasn’t too heavy. The batter was golden brown, perfectly coated and has a crunch to it when you bite into it. I didn’t think it was too greasy, it is deep fried so it was exactly what it was suppose to be. I think it came with a big pickle and I got tarter sauce. We ended up back at Epcot a second day and I had to get this fish again. I actually crave this fish still… It was my FAVORITE meal that I ate at Disney!
We just ate here in May and I loved it! I am not a big fish eater but this fish had a good flavor and texture; it was however slightly greasy (but not too much where I wouldn’t eat it). I would eat here again.
