Did you know you could bring Brita water bottles to Walt Disney World to save money? Here’s what my reader Jessica had to say…
Thanks to Kristin, we all know that we can bring water bottles into the Walt Disney World parks. This significantly helps lower costs and is helpful in keeping everyone healthy, especially in the hotter months. Brita came out with their own water bottle that includes a filter. Well played, Brita, well played. The bottles cost around $10 and come with one filter, but coupons can be found. The colors are subtle and filters come in a two pack for less than $8. (Prices at my local Target.) I originally bought one because I teach and I’m pregnant, therefore drinking a lot of water. We had plenty of water fountains, but our buildings are old so I wanted to make sure I was getting clean water.
At Walt Disney World, water fountains are available throughout the park, as well as sinks. With the Brita Water bottle, you can fill up anywhere with any faucet water and be assured it is going to be clean when you drink it. I have also not had any problems loading the bottle up with ice before putting water in it and many vendors will give you a cup of ice at the park. The bottles also fit nicely into the bottle pockets on the sides of many backpacks or into the cup holders on strollers. Considering the uses after, the bottles are worth the small investment.
Don’t forget that you can also get ice water for free when you ask!
